The Good - Staff was friendly, great location (very close access to stores and interstate), the room was cleaned everyday, the parking was ample, I had a balcony and it had a beautiful view, the room was large, the bed was very comfortable, I had a couch, the internet was fast, it had a refrigerator and microwave, they provided light breakfast, it was quiet, pool was beautiful but was closed due to floods (not their fault, so I am giving it good rating),

The Not So Good - the AC/Heating unit was inconsistent. It kept turning off and very hard to regulate temperature in the room. I did not have a safe in my room. Very little amenities here, just a basic provide a room, business area, pool and light breakfast. It took me 15 minutes to figure out how to turn on the tv (wasn't sure which buttons to push on the remote. I am used to remotes and maybe this is my fault, but I didn't care for this).

I liked the manager's special tea blend. The breakfast was not exceptional. but adequate. The location can't be beat. and it was safe. I stayed in the area in a place that I did not feel safe. this is a great location. too bad the swimming pool wasn't working. but then again it snowed the last day I was there. I would have gone swimming the night before because I was brought up in VT. and now live on the ocean in Maine. the office people are great. I go back cause I like talking to them!

The swimming pool has not been open for as long as I have been going to Saint Johnsbury to visit my sister. its either "the heater is not working", the swimming pool is closed on "such and such a date" or in middle of the summer "the flood in the river destroyed the pool facilities" It is always some reason the pool has not been open starting 11 years ago, with a gap of 8 years and then the last 3 years. The plumbing is not that good. I have to stop the toilet from running all night by adjusting the float 3 times in 4 days. The refrigerator actually heated up the food, until I got the concierge to fix the refrigerator, then it froze my food, but better frozen than spoiled. Thanks. The microwave heated the frozen food up pronto!

A few days ago I had a pipe break at my home an needed to find a place to stay FAST with my 2 kids at 8pm on a school night! Fairbanks is right down the road to my children's school an they had available rooms. The front Desk man was extremely nice an even upgraded us an made sure we were comfortable an had what we needed. Rooms very clean, very friendly staff, great location. Thank you FairBanks for your help an hospitality

Rarely seen such a quiet hotel/room No noise coming from the street or elsewhere. Very large, well-appointed and comfortable room with sofa and side table. Large bathroom. Own. Shower/hot water; Alright Comfortable bed Beautiful view with French window and large balcony at the back Extremely quiet air conditioning/heating; very recent modern wall system Wireless ; good

Minimalist breakfast

For the price is a STEAL. However, there were a few shady looking characters staying there. Which to me made no difference. Comfort Inn is TWICE the price and 5 minutes up the road with no shady characters. If I was alone with kids I would go Comfort Inn. If looking for a good bargain then go to Fairbanks Inn!

The beds were comfortable and clean. The rooms were really big and clean and included a mini fridge and microwave. There were two sinks in our double queen room. Overall, the inn felt clean and safe.

Room was very clean. Staff was very polite and helpful. Motel is right on the highway but safe. Parking area clean. Ice machine area well lit and clean.

Nice big rooms with a balcony you can sit out on and listen to the river. It’s a little out of town so you cant walk to get a meal, did not worry me.

The WIFI was pretty much non existent and the cell coverage was not that great either.

Good stay. The rooms where clean and OK. The staff was very helpful. Easy acces and location.

The breakfast was OK but could be better. Bread out of the freezer? Is not very nice in the morning. The rest was good.

Spacious room, comfortable bathroom, very helpful service at the front desk. Small nice stream running in the back of the hotel. Very quiet.

Selection at breakfast wasn't great - no eggs.
