This is a nice lodge in the White Mountains area. The rooms are of good size with nice fridge that has a dedicated freezer space, a good sized couch that can be used as a second bed which was reasonably comfortable. The main king bed was comfortable and very large. The bathroom was clean and had all the amenities. The room had a smart TV with most of the services and the place offers a pretty speedy WiFi that will satisfy most people. The lodge is quiet and relaxing and features a pool area with alot of seating and picnic tables to enjoy a good outdoor meal if you choose to. The available grill seems like a good addition for those who would like to dabble in that. The lodge is close to Woodsville where many shops are available for all your needs.

While the pull out couch was prepared for our arrival as a 3rd bed, upon opening it we discovered hair brush. We then had to ask for a complete change of sheets and all bedding which we acquired from the office but made the bed ourselves.

We loved that it was 30 min from Dog Mountain in VT, and the room was smallish (we got a room with 2 double beds) but we were there only for one night - so perfect for resting for us and our two pups. It was a short walk from a delicious dog friendly restaurant and we loved the accessible trail on the property we took our dogs on in the morning. Staff was friendly and took their time to explain the areas to me and honestly it was the best experience. Air conditioning was a DREAM and worth every penny.

We wished the beds were a little bit more comfy but thats about it :) you can hear people stepping above you and all that but we didn't hear the folks next to us at all.

We loved the rustic location, the down to earth reception and the uncomplicated dealings with all of the friendly and warm staff. There was fresh air on the edge of the mountains, the window in the room opened and there was a great restaurant walking distance from the lodge. The AC/heater in the room was quiet, also a plus. We left something behind and the follow-up from the staff was superb. They found our lost item and offered to mail it to us in a timely fashion. We will stay again in the future.

The bed was a little on the soft side.

Stayed in a couple different rooms throughout my stay and each room was nicely sized with a comfortable bed and a nice gas heater. May seem like no big deal, but the refrigerator and microwave worked exceptionally well in the rooms I stayed in as well. For someone that travels a lot for work the smaller things like this go a long way.

Only gripe I really have is that their network has a stricter then normal NAT which caused some difficulty with online gaming with my son and caused major issues with my scrapers for Cinema and Kodi getting good links to watch shows and movies.

Good location and facilities. Was close to our motorcycle course as well as a Walmart to get anything we needed.

Price was a bit much for a one-night stay for one person (approx. $150) considering the rural location and there was nothing going on (fairs, events etc.) to cause a pricier stay for such little needed accommodations.

It was clean, the beds were comfortable, ac worked great. Location was convenient.

Over all there wasn't really anything worth not liking. We did have an 11 o'clock check out and we were around 5 min late checking out due to a 3 yr old and extra bags we had with us. I understand there has to be a schedule, check out cleaning ect.. I got a phone call right before I was headed downstairs stating I had an 11 o'clock check out. Completely understandable. Just was taken off guard due to it was only a few min after 11, had it have been 20 min I could see a reason for a phone call. Wasn't a big deal just caught me off guard.

We were traveling from Boston to Derby Line VT and stayed to break up the trip. It was such a pleasant surprise. The area is so quaint and rustic. The Lodge is exactly like the pictures on booking.com and everyone is so helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again when in the area.

The property was beautiful and the staff were so friendly. It was a peaceful location with a wonderful café right across the street.

The only issue was the Internet router had a very bright blinking light and it was attached to the ceiling so you could not cover it. This only bothered us because we like a very dark room at night.

The features and cleanliness were a pleasant surprise in this older but updated log cabin sided motel. I liked the free coffee in the office in the morning. Convenient to all the stores we needed.

It would have been nice if we could have stayed longer to enjoy the Rec Center, hot tub, outdoor firepits, grilles, etc,

Nootka Lodge is a happy throwback to an earlier age when staying at a motel was a personal experience. We were welcomed by staff who were genuinely glad to see us. The room was spacious and comfortable - dated, but in a very good way. Conveniently located and fully appointed without pretense, Nootka Lodge was a find!
