Our visit was excellent. The staff was on top of everything (sorry, I'm not good with names, so this is lacking personal shout outs).The room and remainder of the common areas were exceptionally clean. There were numerous antiques throughout, consistent with the age of the property. The room was spacious, jacuzzi tub was relaxing, and the fireplace within the room added to the ambiance. Dining and drinks were amazing, including dinner as well as the pub fare. If you have time, try one of the many Stave puzzles, they're quite the challenge! If you're looking for a low key, get away from it all location, you've found the perfect spot. I know we will be returning as often as we can.

Quiet location. Comfortable beds with a nice fireplace. Excellent breakfast including daily prepared pastries. Friendly staff. Short distance from good hiking and mountain biking locations. Would recommend staying, but be aware that the clientele tends to be of the older generations and the experience might be better tailored to such group.

Value for the money. For the price we were paying, we would have hoped for a more updated room. The bathroom for example is old (not charming old) and it was difficult to get the water going in the shower. There was a loud fridge in the room was had to unplug every night before going to sleep.

The breakfast was superb! The restaurant was lovely and the common space was so warm and inviting. Loved the "rabbit" touches throughout the inn.

The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable and had a lovely sauna tub and a fireplace. However, the decor was not great - it was too kitschy - decorated with fish on the wall, and other outdoor/fishing memorabilia that took away from a romantic inn setting.

It was a warm, cosy inn which felt homely and with lots of lovely rabbity touches. The bed was very comfortable and staff friendly and available. Restaurant and bar were great.

Breakfast was a tad limited to two options and generally veered towards the high calorie / sweet side. Toast or other forms of bread weren't available which was a surprise at the prices being paid. Manager (who was providing cover to be fair) and other staff not vastly knowledgeable about local area and walks etc but other than that they worked to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

Clean, historic, quaint, quiet, 5 star dinner & breakfast. Location with library & church across the street Hostess manager so helpful. The staff so friendly. Stav wooden puzzles for guests to work on in a quiet sitting rooms. Excellent coffee.

Nothing major to report. We like to watch a show before bed, so we bright a small portable tv, great wifi and easy to stream our own movies.

Excellent! Breakfast was fantastic and the innkeeper assistant was phenomenal as was everyone that worked there!

Some of the guests. They were slightly pretentious and rude. Not sure if was the age difference but it was all good since we did not need to interact and the staff was fantastic!

We had a great experience spending our 5 year anniversary at the Inn. It has a very cozy and warm ambiance and spacious rooms. Loved the main sitting room with the fireplace and Stave wooden puzzle corners. The staff, including Kate, the inn manager, were very friendly and helpful. They had a cute bar called Snooty Fox, run by Hugo, who was a great host.

High price of dinner & drinks

I really liked the Rabbit Hole. It was great for a sole traveller. There were two lounges to sit and read or do puzzles. Everyone at the property was super helpful and the breakfast was delicious. I wish I had stayed longer.

We had excellent time, from the moment we stepped in to the property till we left. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and flexible to our food preference. Public areas are comfortable and home like.
