Beautiful, well-maintained grounds in a great location and wonderful staff! Included breakfast was a treat!

Overall room was clean but left a bit to be desired. Windowsills were dirty, some debris on the floor, and a few dead bugs. One of our room lamps was missing a light bulb. Water pressure was weak though temperature was good.

Brilliant location on a riverbank! This historic inn would never today have permission to be so sited, with rocky rapids right below our room's balcony. Nice, hard-working staff. Very reasonable room rates. Beds comfortable and rooms clean. The restaurant was good; the dinner menu had some unusual Indian choices.

Building maintenance has been a bit neglected, and gardens could use some attention. Decor is outdated.

Location near Colonial theater we went to for the film was excellent. Breakfast was superior. Steel-cut oats exceptional. Hostess/cook friendly. Sprucing of facility a work in progress and very lovely. Hummingbird in garden charming. Staff were very helpful, letting us in early.

Info about the garden by the stream off the dining room. We did not know about it, would have visited it the afternoon we arrived.

It was a comfortable, quiet, charming inn with lovely views from the room, comfortable bed, large high ceilinged bedroom and a well-served delicious meal and supper. not fancy, not anything but a comfortable home styled inn. just what we wanted.

The location was great and nice hot breakfast each morning of your choice. The staff was very friendly. Sarah does a great job in the kitchen and makes a couple of great soups from scratch. When asked they started a fire for us too.

The stay included a full meal and the room had a balcony that overlooked the river. Very nice!!

`the room was dated, it was comfortable and clean, Kinda had a 70's or 80's feel to it. I would have preferred to stay in the main house. I will stay there next time.

The room was comfortable. The food was excellent and the breakfast that was included with the room was a bonus. Meals were served with seating over looking the flower garden with the stream in the background and hummingbirds to entertain us.

We liked everything.

We arrived after 10 pm due to the snow storm and they were very accommodating. The front desk was supposed to live by 10 pm and waited for us until we arrived . Super friendly staff and great breakfast. Highly recommended.

The owner/manager was very friendly and helpful and took time to show us the entire property and explain where everything was....very nice!

it was kind of cold in the common areas, which caused us to stay in our room more.
