This is such a quaint inn. Superb way to experience New England. We stayed in the upper loft room in the cottage which is apart from the inn building and was spacious, quiet and absolutely perfect for our family of four with two little kids. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the inn itself is cute and cozy, and the pub with its open mic night was perfect for a date night once the littles were tucked in. LOVED this place.

I think they could make it a B&B by folding in the cost of breakfast to the room rate. Would increase the inn's charm.

Its nice that breakfast is included now, but it's very very light. Loved the full breakfast menu they had previously, especially the eggs benedict. But Polly's pancakes is delicious and very close.

The bed in room 18 was hard. There was a king bed on the lower floor that was so soft and comfortable to the point that I was trying to figure out what brand and model was so I could purchase it for my home.

Our midweek stay at the Franconia Inn in August was the most relaxed and fun getaway we've enjoyed in a long while. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We also loved that this big rambling inn had so many places to gather and enjoy, including a screened porch, the front porch with comfortable chairs, a covered patio, game rooms, a library, a pool with lounge chairs, a great outdoor hot tub, trails, and more. What was amazing was that the weather in the valley where the inn is located was much milder and sunnier than in Franconia Notch itself. We were able to find plenty to do, even when the weather wasn't perfect, including a short hike and the Franconia Arts Walk. Meals weren't included with our booking so we tried some local eateries and also reserved for breakfast at the inn one morning and dinner one evening. The food was imaginative and delicious. We also had cocktails and dessert in the pub one evening. Looking forward to going back for a fall or winter stay next.

The historic inn has been around for a long time so it's not modern and every room is different. That appeals to us but might not be for everyone. Also note that the air conditioners are window units (ours worked fine).

Cute hotel with lovely sitting areas. Open mic at the pub was fun.

The pool was not open and we were hoping for a better breakfast. I may have read some older reviews that stated a great country breakfast, now it is continental. I just misread it.

Fabulous atmosphere in the quaint and friendly property, sad for us that we couldn’t experience the bar and open Mic night.

Bathroom was clean but very tired and dated. While the quaint and dainty rooms have a style you can love, a modern bathroom would be great.

The sitting room with a fireplace near the lobby was very cozy. The hamburgers and the hand cut fries were the best I have ever had! The bed was very comfortable. The option of horse riding was great. The view was phenomenal! we enjoyed both nature and watching the glider planes take off. Location of Inn was perfect. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

having outlets close to you was challenging but doable. the shower water could have been hotter.

Beautifully decorated for the holiday season. Cozy and comfortable place to holiday.

Wish there was a bit more snow so we could partake in that Nordic skiing! Maybe next time.

Wonderful location in the Franconia Notch. Old fashioned inn with lots of character. The continental breakfast was perfect. We also enjoyed the evening entertainment in the pub. Clean and comfortable rooms.

The horseback trail ride was really nice. The Inn is centrally located for exploring the trails and sites in the area.

Unfortunately for us the Inn’s restaurant and pub was closed on the Monday and Tuesday we were there, but there were plenty of places in nearby Bethlehem and Littleton. They did serve breakfast every day and it was very good.

Wonderful setting which was perfect for its scenic area, the Inn was warm and cozy with amenities & service which were not diminished by it history and charm. Wish we had time to stay another couple days.
