We had a very late arrival time and could not find ANYWHERE that would accommodate us without a fee except this adorable motel! They let us check in at 4 am at the motel 6 across the street and it was seamless. It felt very relaxed and the water pressure was so good. Also Brenda at the front desk is so delightful

Staff were friendly snd helpful, good value for money. Having a fridge and microwave was useful. It had everything I needed and nothing I didn’t. Great for lone travel, probably not so much for a family though

The room smelt a bit like wee.

The motel offered a good, clean room with a small fridge and microwave as well as decent size room for an excellent price considering the location in Falls Church, Va. It seemed safe and quiet. It is located on a busy area with many eating and entertainment options nearby. All in all, I was happy with my choice.

I had to walk from the Governor inn motel to the motel 6 next door for check in. It wasn’t that far or inconvenient for me, but it could be for an older person who is not able to walk that far. I checked in around 10:30 PM on a Saturday night. I guess the check in lobby for the Governor inn closes earlier in the day.Nevertheless, it was only a minor issue for me.

Yes, the hotel could use renovation because it's clearly quite old, but it was clean and basic facilities were there. There was just nothing really bad about it (I mention a few negative things though). Nice addition was - surprisingly nice - free coffee in the morning. Location likely requires a car - it's a few mins by car to nearest subway station. Overall it was good value compared to prices in other hotels around DC, would likely stay there again.

- the shower was hard and not intuitive to turn on (you have to pull hard and then rotate), the pressure was also not great - fridge was cooling only a bit - in-room safe was battery-powered and it didn't have batteries inside

A sign stated that a shuttle was available to take to you the metro station, but the front counter employee stated that was false.

Everything in our room was all new very modern.. very clean as well.

The website says that the furniture was outdated but it is not

Reception was close the whole time. The staff from hotel next door were the ones doing everything for both hotels.

Everything. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Windows that you can open. Bar that you can hold onto while taking a shower.
