My husband is in the U.S. Marine Corps, so for the first few years of us dating we were entirely long distance and the only way we could see each other was if I traveled to him or if we met halfway. My point is, I have stayed in A LOT of hotels, and this, hands down, was the best hotel we have ever stayed in. I have actually already recommended it to so many people. The staff are amazing, the hotel itself is beautiful, everything was cleaned amazingly. I can’t say enough about it. I have never felt safer in a hotel. I really had no worries of bugs, nastiness, nothing. It was perfect.

Honestly nothing at all. Our stay couldn’t have been better. Highly recommend!!

Only complaint I have at all, about this awesome historical place, is that the restaurant was not open. They said it should be back open later this year. They did still have breakfast in the morning and there are a few restaurants within a short walk of the Inn. We hit up the local recommended Mexican Restaurant, one block away. It was pretty good and we had a good time for sure and only had to manage to walk ourselves back, the one block. Other than that, I have zero complaints. Very cool historical Inn.

The breakfast was good but the 2nd morning they were running out of some food. But I appreciated having it there:) I loved the character of the building and the rooms. So nice. The room and bathroom were very clean which is important!

The bathroom could have been warmer. The vent couldn't be turned off and sounded like it was open to the outside so no way to keep the cold out. I was freezing in the shower and getting out!

The staff is very friendly and I love the history of the building. The art and furnishings are nice additions to the overall feeling of the stay.

After two stays here, I felt the cleanliness is slightly lacking. I wouldn't describe the rooms as dirty, but small details could be improved. I found a cellophane wrapper along with crumbs etc. on the carpet the first time I stayed here. There were handprints on the bathroom wall during this stay. Again, nothing off putting, but a little more attention to detail would make the stay that much better.

Breakfast was good. Waffles, muffins, cereal, bagels, yogart, breakfast sandwiches, fruit, scrambled eggs, sausage patties.

The only complaint I had was that the same food was offered all 3 mornings. The food that was offered was good just would have liked to have more variety. The hot food was always scrambled eggs and sausage patties.

I was in love with the beauty and historical charm of this hotel.❤ The porch and rocking chairs were perfect. My husband had a cigar and we just sat talking, rocking and watching traffic; it seemed time stood still. It was just perfect.

😊We had no complaints. The included breakfast was of minimal choices but the location was convenient if we were to choose something a little more. (Not sure why this ranked me a sad face. I was all happy faces!)

The building was amazing! We got a king suite and it was definitely worth the upgrade. The staff was great! We loved learning the history of The Inn from the staff as well as from all of the framed pictures and articles on the walls. It was such a relaxing place to stay! We were very impressed by the cleanliness of the whole building, including our room! We will definitely be back!

We were definitely not impressed with the breakfast options. We would've like to have had the option of some hot food rather than a continental style breakfast. Maybe like some biscuits, gravy, eggs, bacon, sausage, ect.

Breakfast was standard as with any continental breakfast. There was more on this bar than several others I have had

I drive a Tesla and the drop cord helped some. But it’s sure nice to wakup with a full charge. Tesla has destination chargers that runs on 50 amp service. And they are only $500. We always stay where there is charging.

Historical

It didn't have Fox; it's a basic channel. We planned our stop so that we could eat and watch the Super Bowl before finishing drive home the next day. No Fox means no Super Bowl. We were able to access on laptop. I never would have thought to ask if they had a basic channel when I booked.

The room was very spacious, it didn't feel like I was right on top of someone. The beds were also really comfy and the price wasn't bad considering I needed a safe place to sleep and who knows what you get with motels nowadays.

I couldn't really complain about anything. I mean, there was only one light and it wasn't near the TV, but the lamp was bright enough to more than compensate. Great place overall.
