The hotel consists of two buildings - an old one and a newer one. The older building has far more charm and beauty. The newer building is nice but there really isn't anything special bout it - it's a modern hotel. If you book at this hotel make sure you request to stay in the old building. We didn't make this request and were initially booked into the new building. They were able to move us into the old building after we requested it.

Very comfortable room. The bed and sheets were exceptional (900 TPI???) The Staff were all AMAZING. Checked in at nearly midnight - Friendly. Restaurant was over the top (breakfast and dinner). Other staff (housekeeping and front desk at checkout) was friendly and helpful. Nothing major but just in general NICE people.

The view - - - North, West and South are all better - ours was to the East - - - not bad but North to the waterfront would have been nicer.

My husband drives a Ford 150 Lightening and was able to charge at their Tesla charging stations (2 of them) overnight. He has a converter for Tesla to Ford. The staff was very friendly and although we had an older room it was very clean and comfortable.

The French press we wanted to use had its steel mesh worn out and partially shredded. Little pieces hanging off it. So we couldn’t have coffee in the morning. We brought it down to the front desk because I thought it was dangerous. If I hadn’t noticed, we might have swallowed a small piece of steel.

Beautiful historic boutique hotel. We stayed in a king suite with kitchen and fire place. It was a large room with a nice sitting area with a couch. Gas fire place kept us warm and cozy when we needed. Bed was very comfortable. This room has a bathroom with a tub which is essential to me. Kitchen was great. Need larger bowls for breakfast serial. I loved everything about this hotel. It was a pet friendly room but we did not bring our dog. It was a large enough room to stay with our dog. Lots of fabulous restaurants just across from the hotel and they all have dog friendly covered outdoor seating area some with patio heaters. Perfect hotel to come and relax even with your dog. We will bring our dog next time for sure.

Only thing we did not like was noise from room upstairs. We can hear someone walking in the room very clearly. Sound proofing was not very good.

We, along with our dog, were greeted by friendly, helpful staff. They had a toy box for our dog to pick from. The room was clean, and there were two comfortable chairs. The bed was okay, but just beginning to show its age. The room had no view to speak of, but we weren’t paying for a view.

We were next to the closet where linens and other room cleaning equipment was kept and so where the maids gathered in the morning. They weren’t noisy but did talk.

Breakfast was very good. I really liked the sausage links that came with my scrambled eggs. The coffee was delicious! The server was friendly and helpful.

The BED! The mattress was very hard and had dips in it. The sheets and pillow cases were old and tired. The way the bed was made made it impossible to pull the sheets and blanket up over your shoulders. I did not sleep well at all either night.

We stayed in the new building which has king size beds and a roof top lounge which is fabulous at sunset. The original building's restaurant is newly remodeled and the food is wonderful.

Room coffee maker uses a "French press" which is a nice touch, but very messy and to much effort. A simple Keurig would be better.

The staff were helpful and very pleasant. The Bistro was lovely breakfast was great! Our room was large and comfortable the shower is 10/10! Great walking location lovely small town ocean side community vibe! Location to Skagit Valley is convenient.

To stay in the original building just for the nostalgic experience!

The female concierge on arrival went out of her way to answer all questions and gave lots of suggestions about happenings in the area and some insider scoop. She also helped me find a very comfortable room with a balcony. The freshly ground coffee for our French press made For a sunny balcony sip with a view to start our day!!

Everything was fine. If I have to lean in…Had steak frites and shrimp skewers - tasty but pricey; slow, distracted service for the few customers there. The atmosphere and coziness of the room were appreciated.

large windows in room, room service available, a sink with the fridge, the soaps were amazing-smelling too! The staff were always available, cheerful, helpful, and kind.

There was some garbage behind a nightstand and dust on top of the bed frame, lamps. Just minor details missed. On Monday at 6am some loud hammering started on the streets outside, unsure if it is another building's alarm or something else.
