Lake Superior is in your backyard. Amazing view. We had a Lakeview King room. We were on the first floor. The hot tub was large and working. Although they did not offer daily housekeeping, any item you needed was available at the front desk Staff was extremely friendly-like they were the owners. Free breakfast had 3 choices for hot food plus yogurt, juices, coffee, and fresh fruit Restaurant next door somewhat connected to hotel. Good food with a reasonable price

If you're a light sleeper there is road traffic noise. For anyone with mobility issues, there is no elevator to the second floor.

Breakfast was good. There was a nice selection fresh fruit and cereal. There were options for waffles, pancakes, biscuits and gravy. There were also fruit juice options. Although our room was next to the indoor swimming pool, it was VERY quiet. The view to the outside was Wonderful!

The bread choices were okay, however, there were no tongs, or hand covers to take a single slice of bread; bags of bread were in a covered plastic shelving box. However, you had to open the bag of bread and take out the individual slice by hand. There were multiple guests handling the open bags of bread to pick out their slice. At the least, provide tongs to make fresh bread selections.

We appreciated the kind and helpful front desk staff! Our room was clean and the breakfast was such a nice touch.

Our room had an exterior door which was great, but the door had a steady draft coming through so our room was cold, especially the bed closest to the door. It was mild weather and still, it was cold. The refrigerator motor was VERY loud and kept going on and off all night. Other than that, everything and everyone was terrific. We will be back in warmer weather.

Very nice facilities right on the shore of Lake Superior's Chequamegon Bay. Comfortable beds and large, well-equipped room. Breakfast was better than typical ones provided by chain hotels. We would stay here again if travels take us to this very pleasant part of Wisconsin. The Mexican restaurant next door had great food and very nice ambience.

I sure wish they would not use single-use, disposable plastic ware and non-compostable paper/plastic "dishes" for everything. The amount of waste produced is atrocious.

Breakfast was excellent. Beds were comfortable. View of the lake was excellent. Location was very convenient. Loved being able to walk out to the lake from the back deck.

Bathroom stool has very little room and is short. Shower is set up too high and not able to adjust. You have to go outside to get down to the pool and hot tub. AC blows right on the bed next to it. I had to put a hand towel over on side or it blew right on my head and neck.

The hotel had a wonderful sitting area in the back overlooking the lake. They had chairs, picnic tables, and a fire pit. The pool and hot tub were clean and the gym looked nice as well although we did not use that. They had the best continental breakfast I have personally had! There were biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, pancakes, waffles as well as your normal continental breakfast foods. The staff was very helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.

We booked a room with a view of the pool, the view itself was fine but the room had a bit of dampness/humidity I am assuming because of the pool. It did not smell musty or anything just a bit sticky. The pool is also open until 10 PM, there were kids playing and screaming from about 9 to 930 ish and kept us up. It was not a huge deal as we didn't have to be up at a certain time but still a bit annoying, I would have been better if the pool closed at 9pm.

We like the very comfortable beds and pillows we like the view of lake superior from our room. We like that there was a dehumidifier in our room because we are on the main floor out to the pool and hot tub. The breakfast was very good scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, waffles, cold cereal, oatmeal, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt the ladies kept the breakfast room, clean and full. check in and out was very smooth. Very nice people.

Completely fine bathroom but bit small. I would prefer hard floors over carpet. I did have to dump the water container in the dehumidifier. It was plum full, and the freezer part of the frigerator was totally iced over so I couldn’t keep ice packs in there.

There was so much-its very welcoming, beautifully decorated, nice pool and gym, the staff, the location and the cleanliness.

For the price, I thought it was a little dated. There were no bedside tables to plug phones into, there was furniture but you would have to get out of bed to turn off the light. Our room had damaged walls, which made it look a little shabby and the water pressure was low and the water temp was finicky between hot and scalding. In the big scheme of things, we were glad we stayed here. I would fix these details though.

The hotel was easy to find and well-located for the activities we were planning to do. The room was spacious and clean. There was a complimentary breakfast that was good enough.

The one issue we had with the room was the inability to block some of the outside light. There were two sets of windows in the room, and the window set to overlook the outside seating area of the hotel had a bright light on above it. The light stayed on all night, and the shades allowed enough light in that it never became truly dark in the room.

The bed and pillows were soft. The view of the full moon over Lake Superior was breathtaking. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar had a good selection of breakfast items and everything I had was fresh and delicious. If I'm ever in Ashland again, I will stay at the Quality Inn again.
