The location is great. The gardens area nice and there is a great porch for relaxing. The bedroom is spacious with a small sofa. The main floor eating area is lovely and the breakfast was good. The owners were very accomodating and friendly.

The small bathroom had a tub without a shower. There is a handheld shower device but it was tricky getting in and out of the tub. The sink was very small. The door to the bathroom stuck a.d was very difficult to close. The stairs to the 2 d floor were quite steep and difficult to negotiate with luggage.

Beautiful home. I felt like I was visiting friends! Bruce & Barb are wonderful hosts. Besides the comfortable beds & clean rooms, we gathered in the huge familyroom for socializing. Bruce started a bonfire for us to enjoy one night. They gave us local sightseeing & restaurant suggestions.

The tubs are deep & hard to get into especially when you want to shower.

The Location had a very nice view of the lake, and as you'd expect from Bayfield it was quiet. You couldn't beat the breakfast ... homemade and extremely tasty!

The BED was not comfortable -- it felt like the mattress, or boxspring, was pretty much worn out! Therefore we didn't wake-up as "refreshed" from our nights rest the way we thought we would!!

Bruce and Barb were great hosts, not too intrusive but exceedingly friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the cost. Downtown shops and restaurants, the ferry landing, and the harbor for cruises to the Apostle Islands are a 10 minute walk away.

The historic home is on the main road through town so there is some road noise.

Super cute B&B. Nice house with a lot of charm. Spacious and comfortable. Very close to the heart of Bayfield. The owners, Barb & Bruce, are such nice people; they made us feel very welcomed; it was almost like visiting good friends. Oh, and the breakfasts are delicious.

The breakfasts were great. We had the use of the family living room which was nice.

Not that it bothered me, but there was a dog in the house. My mother was highly allergic and probably would have turned right around and left the moment the door was opened. It might be good idea in the description of the facility to mention the fact that a dog was a part of the family.

The house was quiet and welcoming. The free parking and closeness to town is wonderful.

If I were to pick something... probably the sticky doors but didn't bother us. It was a hot summer day at the end of July. Can't help the humidity.

Hosts were awesome! Ability to come and go was easy and comfortable. The porch area was great! Breakfast and service was excellent.

Room was small but tolerable, but the shower setup was terrible!

Quiet, friendly couple that ran the B&B, nice room, garden with a fire pit, home made breakfast.

Room was warm - air conditioners had just been removed and weather warmed up to unseasonal highs … did cool down in the night …

Lucy's Place was lovely. The hosts were very friendly but not intrusive. The side porch overlooking an amazing garden was calm and peaceful for morning coffee. We would highly recommend this stay.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.
