The tap water was undrinkable. Is it toxic? Seriously, the taste was chemical, and lingered on my tongue like eating a mouthful of ash. And that was just a swallow. Bottled water should be provided, at least by the vending machine. The vending machine only had soda. The dining room only had super sweet drinks. Doesn't anyone drink water in Ashland?

The location was good as I have family in both Ashland and Washburn. Enjoyed the pool as the old lake is a little cold. Breakfast was good.

Only issue I had was at check in the young man at the front desk was sitting in a chair with his feet up on the counter. Didn't give a very good first impression.

The breakfasts were good, wish there had been more hot choices but I think they are adding that when they finish redoing the breakfast room. Great location for all the waterfalls in the region and for visiting the Apostle Islands

The staff went above expectations for service and friendliness. I left an item in the room and a maintenance worker ran outside to make sure I didn't lose it! It's not a fancy place, but clean and with exceptional staff!

Pool and spa could use a little TLC, but it was clean.

Nice big comfortable room with great photos of the Apostle Islands over the bed (the very reason for my visit. Cody at the front desk was kind enough to suggest some fish restaurants.

The room was somewhat warm upon arrival but the airco unit is terribly loud if you need to keep it on.

The pool was not very appealing and the parking lot was sometimes filled up with massive trucks Slightly too pricey for the location

Great customer service, friendly people, nice hot whirlpool a plus. Not too loud with children. Easily accessible and with a good location across from Chequemegon Bay. Nice smoke are, great coffee. Location is major key here, close to Bayfield, Apostle Island Tours, and only 30 min away. The Bay area is beautiful. Convenient store close, and not to far from Copper Waterfall. Kayaking is an option, remember though, this is a small town if you plan to eat dinner, then plan before 9 pm, otherwise you are limited on fast food .

Had to ask at the front desk for toilet paper. There was even enough on the roll to make it through the night. Not sure why a new roll wasn’t left in the room.

Breakfast was good huge supply of coffee outstanding wish I had remembered bathing suits would have used the pool

a younger man employee was working in front and he was rmthe most politest person and most helpful from the beginning we arrived. Very calm, patience and smiles was the best. We had to leave earlier then expected and the checkout lady in the am on sunday was also very awesome and sweet.

It was great. Just that the older woman working the breakfast area on friday morning was upset seemed frustrated and did not smile. On phone alot. Older blond lady.
