The room had a wonderful view of the lake and even had windows that actually opened! Even though the room was a little smaller than we thought, it was nice & cozy without being claustrophobic. The A/C worked well and so did the heater. There is a wonderful walking trail right at the base of the stairs that lead down from the rooms. It is a very quiet & peaceful place to stay and the staff were very helpful.

Our biggest complaint stems from the lack of parking, especially later in the evening. We had trouble finding a space to park after coming back from dinner almost every night we stayed there. We were told we could park on an adjacent lot, where the owner's house was but that wasn't made clear at check-in and we had trouble finding it. Perhaps they should consider making a map of the property showing guests where these additional parking spots are located. There is no place to park on the streets because the motel is in a residential area without sidewalks.

location was good, stay was easy, I liked the bed, husband said it was too firm. 4 pillows on each bed so no problem finding the right one. Water pressure was good and hot. View was beautiful, walking trail was also very nice. Nice little coffee pot in the room. mini fridge and microwave worked fine.

It was a first for us to have a contact free check in and out. They were very responsive to/with text messages. We didn't have an ice bucket and we didn't find ice in the ice house, except full bags for purchase. We didn't contact anyone about it because it wasn't really a big deal for us. At times it was a bit noisy with something running. Thought maybe a washing machine or dryer, water heater maybe. We were right next to a staff only room. Could hear upstairs water run and toilet flush, but we hear that in other hotels and our apartment. wasn't a big deal.

The location is in Bayfield, but quietly sits on the hill surrounded by trees, creating privacy and quietness. I also enjoyed the lakeside view. Some of the trees obstruct the view if you're on the bottom floor, but still really nice. Staff was very accommodating.

There was only one outside grill available in my area. It would have been nice to have a few more closer. The room lacked sound proofing. It wasn't that bothersome, but one night there was a party in back and you could hear everything as if you're standing outside with them.

I like that our property was right on the water and also we were in the I believe guest house which was up above so it was away from most of the people that were down in the motel. We had our own patio and it was very nice the owner or the gentleman that was working at the time was very pleasant and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this.

I can’t say there was anything that I didn’t like about this property.

Parking was close to our room. View from the back balcony was excellent. TV had free movies. AC worked well.

No change of towels during stay. Bed in the pictures was not the bed we had; seemed old and small. Everything seemed small, the room, bed, bathroom. Only one nightstand.

The motel was very clean and it seemed to be newly renovated. It was near town and we had a great view of Lake Superior from our large window. There was a deck with chairs, a table, and an umbrella right outside our room. The bed was comfortable and there was a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. The check in and check out process was easy. It was affordable and we really enjoyed our trip!

The room was clean and had plenty of extra supplies if needed. The deck was nice.

The tv was a little hard to figure out for boomers. We don't have Netflix at home, so could not plug that in for use. The room was very small. We were very far from the lake.

I was disappointed we didn’t have a lake view, but that was a question. I did not ask, but I love that you could go to a outdoor patio and look out over the lake. Very nice place.

It was great! Loved having the brownstone trail right there to walk onto town each day!

The futon in our room (#23) was not comfortable at all, but we still loved the room!Will they be updating the upper rooms like the lower level room?

Peaceful, quiet location. Enjoyed this relaxing stay. The bathroom had a slight musty smell, but everything else was good. The lighting in the living room and bedrooms was not the best for reading.
