excellent inn with excellent hosts -- great walking in neighborhood -- house is built by famous architect who has a cult following which includes management of the Inn -- I am sympathetic to the cult and have posted photos of pillars from a bank in Winona, MN, built by same architect, G. W. Maher the INN has similar grand pillars -- very good breakfast and also later-afternoon get-together every day at the INN - city of Wausau is a fun place to visit

everything was great - well, too overcast on the days I was there - little sun

Breakfast was excellent but too many carbs. The glass handle door knobs to the room, bathroom and bathroom cabinet all matched snd are similar to ours at home. Randy said the were original. I got a lot of exercise going up and down the stairs! Buster the dog is fantastic. He's friends and gentle and loves to sit on the cushion on the radiator cover lookin out the front window.

It was a bit cool in the room and no obvious way to make it warmer.

This is a beautiful, historic home. Amazing craftsman architecture with leaded glass on the main floor, fireplace in the room, and off-street parking. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming and very attentive to guests’ needs and requests. Fantastic breakfast with large portions were a great day starter. Highly recommend- we will very likely return.

the multi course breakfasts were creative, well plated and very tasty. juice options were nice Coffee was great and always ready waiting prior to breakfast

there was nothing we didn't like, however when we arrived it was negative 18F out side and the room was a bit cooler than the wife liked, however we both slept great under the fluffy warm quilt.

This was our first time staying at an Inn. There aren't enough words to describe and explain how wonderful and beautiful this Inn is. The breakfast was all made fresh each morning and the taste was fabulous. If you're looking for a comfy cozy place to get away to then go and stay at the Stewart Inn.

Nothing the only thing I can say I wish we made our stay longer

Always a pleasure staying here. The host is so friendly and welcoming. Helps with where to go for dinner or other activities to do in the area. The house is stunning and immaculately clean. Price is a great deal especially since the breakfasts are a 3 course meal.

There is nothing I didn’t like.

The host Randy and his dog Buster were super welcoming and made us feel right at home. Even we arrived quite late in the night, he still took his time to give us a full tour of the house and the amenities. Also the 3-course breakfast was something we never experienced at any other place we stayed before.

Absolutely nothing to complain.

I try and stay here every trip to Wausau. House is beautiful and very clean. Bed and linens are very comfortable. The breakfasts are outstanding Randy puts a lot of thought into what he prepares for all the guests. A must place to stay plus location is right in downtown Wausau walking distance to so many great restaurants.

The owners were amazing! Randy made us feel welcome and made great suggestions for places to go and eat. The Inn is beautiful, spotless, warm and inviting. The wine reception was lovely and the breakfast was so yummy and filling!

It was nice to hear the history of this beautiful house. We were treated to a wine social and had the opportunity to meet some of the other guests. Our host provided us with some excellent dinner recommendations and we hit gold with a classic Wisconsin fish fry. Our homemade breakfast was delicious. I was impressed with our hosts concerns with food allergies and preferences. The Stewart Inn is centrally located in downtown Wausau and the parking was convenient.
