Greatest breakfast among several hotels I stayed in Tashkent. Helpful and polite staff. Good location. I extended my stay twice up to several weeks eventually and never moved from this hotel. Will likely come back when I'm back to Tashkent.

Sauna was an extra paid service, that was slightly disappointing. Room rate was in USD and I had a USD bank card. However the hotel did not have USD terminal. So they charged in UZS which was then converted back to USD by my bank. So this lead to double conversion and extra expense.

The night shift manager has been helpful and polite and solved issues immediately and with a smile. Great breakfast! Spotless clean. Good size rooms.

We arrived after midnight. Despite messaging the hotel well in advance, there was no room available for us, it was fully occupied and we were asked to sleep at another hotel 10min away. It was strange, but resolved in a professional way and they paid for the taxi. The next day, we came back at 8am and there was a room available for us. We chose this hotel for the swimming pool, but it was just too crowded and noisy for us. Any time a day. In the end we went back to the other hotel, newer and more quiet with a great breakfast. The other hotel name is Silk Road Hotel. Great staff, brand new.

The Staff was very nice, polite and helpful, the breakfast was good, the location of the hotel was in a quite and clam place and it was near to many restaurants

Nothing, everything was good with this hotel

I know I picked this hotel myself but boy am I happy I have picked it. Literally everything here is good. It is well-located in a quiet yet central district. It is exceptionally clean and spacious, with wonderful but very tastefully done Uzbek decor and interiors. It looks and feels freshly built or renovated; bathrooms in particular are spacious, all fixtures working flawlessly. It has a very cosy pool with a beautiful dastarkhan (special type of seating where you sit as if on a ground but on a dais round a table) next to it where you can order drinks and food by the poolside. The breakfasts are abundant and done in local style, yet a regular European selection is also possible; and during after hours, the same floor functions as a restaurant where you can taste all sorts of local cuisine. Finally, the staff are very, and I would like to stress that, VERY helpful, friendly, and willing to go the extra mile. I wish I could keep this hotel to myself, frankly, and not tell anyone else about it, but okay, here you go; have a nice stay!

Breakfast was good.

I could not tell if anyone from your staff was in the breakfast room. Later at the front desk they told me someone was there, but no one greeted the guests when they walked in.

Sarvar and Murad on reception are the best. They are so friendly and have incredible knowledge of the local area. I haven’t met staff as kind and diligent in a long time. They are incredible. The room was good and clean.

You need to pay an additional $15 to use the spa, so I didn’t use it. This should be displayed more clearly when booking.

We only stayed one night but the staff were absolutely wonderful - so friendly and helpful. As soon as we arrived in our taxi, someone met us at the car to take our bags. I was near the end of my US Dollars, but they were more than happy to take payment in a combination of USD and Som. We had to be at the airport at 11:00pm and, even though we’d checked out in the morning they were happy to keep our bags all day and evening, so we could pick them up on our way back to the airport. We were upgraded to a suite, which was fabulous and so comfortable. For most of our trip around Uzbekistan, we stayed in small traditional guest houses, so this was the only modern hotel we stayed at, but I’d definitely recommend Old Tashkent Hotel. Breakfast had the largest variety of choice than anywhere else we’d stayed and, if you’re there at the right time of year, you can have breakfast on the outdoor terrace, looking over the city. A wonderful stay with such lovely staff.

Nothing at all to dislike.

This is a nice property in Tashkent with all facilities. Use local taxi app to commute. The staff is very nice, specially -Muzaffar, he is GOLD. He has excellent customer care skills and impressed me very much. He booked all train tickets for us with incredible precision and perfection. Muzaffar manners were very cordial. He even gave us money exchange in a flash. If ever i come to Tashkent i will stay in this hotel only and only bcoz of Muzaffar. Muzaffar must be given the responsibility of training other staff bcoz we encountered a other staff member who was behaving mean and had a cocky attitude ( i don’t remember his name). We asked him to click some pics for us for a minute and he was acting weird and showing his displeasure. The breakfast is OMG, So incredible. It’s the best breakfast in the world, and the staff too are so polite and full of respect, with not a single frown on face. They do not behave rude and start removing the food exactly when the time of breakfast finishes, they very slowly start removing food after sometime.

The room is small, but not very small

Very near to tashkent airport. Excellent communication by the hotel staff.. Rooms are clean and comfortable. They assisted us with our luggage. Quick response to all our queries, in fact, Mr. Muzaffar went the extra mile to complete all our train reservations and helped us plan our entire itinerary. Thanks for all your services, Muzaffar. May Allah bless you with great success. Breakfast was sumptuous. We enjoyed the traditional Uzbeki food.

Room , breakfast was okay

Reception had to give us Change , so he told he doesn’t have change now will inform the next person and give . But when we asked the next person he was not aware, staff only had a lot of communication problems between them . We booked car from them to Samarkand, but the driver came half an hour late , the receptionist didn’t even bother to inform us even after we paid full amount in advance . For the price the location is not worthy
