The room looks old but clean, easy to get the food and mini market. The staff is kind. Nice breakfast.

The key room is not good and the lamp is too dark.

We had an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, they allowed us to have our check in, which was a nice touch! The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, I would highly recommend if they can put bidet for easy use. What really stood out to us was the exceptional customer service. The staff was always friendly, helpful and attentive to any request we had. I would highly recommend Rushana, Asadbek and Toni, they went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The location of the hotel was also perfect- conveniently located near attractions and landmarks, making it easy to explore the area. In terms of hotel price it was incredibly reasonable and at budget range. Overall, i highly recommend Retro Palace to anyone visiting in Tashkent. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in town!

The room was excellent with good Wifi. We arrived at 7am after night train and understandably the room was not ready. Check In was supposed to be 2pm but we got in the room at 1pm. The staff were friendly and professional and Asadbek did his best to accommodate us during the wait.

The Pool - It was a hot April day so maybe the pool was not ready for the summer. It was extremely cold and very dirty. The pool was the main reason for booking and it was available for use but it should have been closed really with the water temperature and the dirt.

What I liked the most - my spacious room, a big bed , there were everything I need. very quiet location and no noise from outside . Very friendly staff , I was asked every day if I needed the room to be cleaned or if I needed anything else (bottles of water, for example) The location was excellent near the subway , a bus stop , art plov cafe and Anjir Cafe , samsa , ATM for exchanging money . One of the best location . If I come back to Tashkent , I'll book my stay here again They gave me a feeling of "home" KATTA RAHMAT !

Coffee 3in1 for breakfast . However there is no point to be upset over such trivia.

We liked this hotel very much, quiet location but close to restaurants and metro station. We stayed in the deluxe double room which was big with high ceiling, very nice & comfortable, water heater in the room. Wifi worked very well. The pool area is lovely, you can also just sit there & have a rest from a busy day. The breakfast is buffet style with many choices, tasty! The staff was very polite & friendly, Mr Asadbek & Mr Toni at the reception were very gentle, helpful & fluent in english.

The property is in a great location, making it very convenient to travel to the city’s famous attractions. The staff was extremely helpful, especially Mr. Asadbek, who went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. For the price, it’s definitely worth it. However, since the property is a bit old, some renovations would enhance the overall experience. And also the breakfast options needs to be improved.

Lovely room with a view into the courtyard. Lovely staff especially Toni. And good position for walking to the main sights.

Some of the staff could have been more helpful. When I asked for information on where I could listen to good traditional Uzbek music I was told to look on the internet .the site was in Uzbek and Russian..not much help to an English speaker.

Thanks, Tony - it was my one of the best stays. The location is perfect. Rooms are cozy and old styled and they even upgraded our room after we had an issue of electricity. Pool is amazing, this place is really under the hood - you will love everything about it.

I liked that we paid little for a good quality stay. It has a good location. it has hot water to shower. the staff are very nice. we didn’t hear noises from other rooms. good privacy. we needed a electric kettle & adapter and they provided them to us. I loved the courtyard in the middle with the pool because it was peaceful.

the pool is cold so we couldn’t swim but I saw a guy who did. the water for taking a shower was too hot but I like hot water. we had internet from our SIM card so I can’t judge the Wi-Fi in the room but the Wi-Fi in the lobby was excellent but not so good in the courtyard.

Excellent staff.... special mention to Rukhshona... she's very helpful and always attentive with a smile. The swimming pool is an additional attraction for amenities.
