The Roza Palace location is amazing! Very central and walking distance to all 3 beaches! Very unique hotel, lots of green plants , places to relax ! Our room was new and very comfortable,TV has lots of good movies in the English language, WiFi is good too ,and the shower is good ! The staff was so friendly and Hoang at the front desk welcomed us and we felt like home! Hoang speaks very good English and helped us with everything we asked for !He upgraded our room for a better one and makes us feel VIP! Thank you for your hospitality and the gift !

The novelty aspect was outstanding and having a private cave grotto patio was a huge positive as was the pool.The room was spotlessly clean, large and modern with daily house keeping. The breakfast was sufficient and the serving staff were truly wonderful. Thank you so much to Deip and Mrs Huong for going above and beyond to help with an unusual request. Your generosity and care to provide an experience is truly apprciated and we will carry these memories with us for ever.

There is no longer any water views in the main street of Cat Ba. Developers are currently filling in the bay with millions of tons of sand. Construction takes place 24/7 and while this is beyond the control of the hotel it was not what we paid for. The fridge was less than adequate as it turned off with the removal of the key leaving medications and stored goods hot by the end of the day. Absolutely no streaming or tv services are provided leaving us to use our own subscriptions which required the additional cost of a VPN for Australian access. Sadly we found reception was lack lustre and flat.

We stayed here 3 weeks after the storm so the town was rebuilding. The hotell kept apologizing for the noise but compared to Hanoi the noise was nothing. The staff were amazing very attentive. The food was excellent we ate there both nights we stayed and breakfast was provided. There was a good variety at breakfast. We booked a tour through the hotel which was amazing. Also booked our bus to Ninh Binh through the hotel. They booked us a sleeper bus which was very comfortable. The room was big and the bed was huge. The pool was refreshing. Loved the ambiance of the hotel and the leaving gift was a extra bonus. I can't fault this hotel wish I spent more time in Cat Ba. I will definitely return again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Fair choice for breakfast. Loved the hotel partly carved into the rocks which made it very unusual and charming. Little "kitchen style" area with lots of cupboards and "work surface" as well as a mini bar. Small balcony that look over the "open air" entrance area. Closed to all restaurants....so very well situated for amenities.

Shower and toilet as a wet room. Once you have had a shower the toilet and the floor are wet until the room is cleaned the next day.

The hotel staff greeted us and were very friendlly. We were upgraded to a better (larger ) room. Thw facilities is great, it is located close to everything, they assisted with any small thing we asked. I must thank Minh who made our stay memorable. He assited with all our questions and was helpful in all respects. Nothing was to much for him to do. He is a real asset.

The breakfast was very boring and basic. I understand that t is low season but the food was not great. The staff were all great though

So all in all everything was fine! Comfortable beds, clean, AC worked, staff was kind, good location for doing tours... If you don't care about the price its a good stay!

The breakfast was underwhelming! And in our opinion, despite everything being fine, it was just a little bit too expensive compared to our other stays in Vietnam. For the price we would've expected even more luxury (in Vietnam), about 71€ for one night... or a cheaper price for what we got.

The hotel was brand new, amazing facilities the staff was very kind and attentive at all times. Breakfast was delicious, the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Swimming pool was amazing and gave a nice view of the bay. Pricewise could not be more competitive and good value for the mpney we paid.

The only concern we had is that found in the reception during the night a mouse, which was running around and that would not benefit the hotel. It should be done a deep cleaning of the property to kill rodants amd make sure nothing enters the lovely property.

We had a lovely, clean, big room for the three of us in a good location - food places within a 5min walk of the hotel which had a lovely view of the sea. The hotel itself boasted some cute, cosy areas to sit and spend time both inside and outside, and seemed well looked after and thoughtfully decorated. The kind staff at reception were very friendly and helped us with island info / food recommendations / laundry. We felt very welcomed from the beginning to the end of our stay.

My only minor fault was that we could've had three pairs of slippers in our room instead of two. However, I'm sure if we asked the staff, they would've given us an extra pair.

Very helpful and welcoming staff who spoke good English and assisted on many occasions including Minh as our amazing translator at the hospital. Location was perfect, rooms were huge, beds comfy and very big. Interesting and beautiful hotel, pool with a view. Felt very safe and well looked after here. Staff organised our transfers and a last minute extra night booking and a good take away breakfast on a few occasions. Would highly recommend to everyone as our stay was amazing

Only a small issue, we had 3 rooms 1 had a toilet that had a bit of an aroma to it...

Fantastic hotel, we loved everything about tour stay there. Our room was very modern, clean and very comfortable. We had the biggest bed, comfy pillows, and a great nights sleep. We stayed for 2 nights and thorughly enjoyed our time there. The staff from reception to housekeeping to restaurant were amazing, friendly, and made our stay even more enjoyable. We didn't have great weather, but the hotel and staff made our trip fantastic. This was our 10th hotel stay on our travelling journey and the best hotel stay so far.

Loved everything, wished we could of stayed longer.
