We only stayed one night in crazy house because we had read reviews that there was no privacy and the rooms weren’t very nice but we definitely loved our stay and would love to have stayed longer. It is true that if you stay in one of the themed rooms hundreds of tourists will try to look in the windows and open the door during operating hours and so if you want to stay in one of those, you do need to plan on being away from your room during the day. But they also have large comfortable rooms in a separate area that is completely private but part of the property. It was a lot of fun actually going through a little tunnel and coming out to another area that is for authorized personnel only and having a large comfortable room with a great bathroom and hot water which is where we stayed. And being able to view the place on private porches while the tourists are climbing all around the property during the day was great. And then when they close the doors It is your own private Funhouse. When we were there, there were only three other people staying on the property so all evening we had the whole place to ourselves to explore and take pictures and videos, and sit and have a beer and again first thing in the morning, running around and enjoying the place was fantastic. We’re so glad we stayed and we would’ve been very happy to stay several nights. Also, the staff was great. Super friendly and helpful and even helped us arrange our bus tickets when we left Our room was clean and comfortable and I would extremely highly recommend staying here. It is a once in a lifetime experience. Such a cool and creative space.

Everything was great

We absolutely loved our 2 night stay in the Land Eagle room in a truly unique and magical place! The room itself was spacious and comfortable (my husband said he had the best sleep in ages), while also being so unique and quirky. Crazy House kept our kids occupied for many hours over 2 days, and they loved having it all to themselves in the early morning before it opened. Even as we were leaving they were begging for one more adventure! A few times tourists tried to open the door but we had locked it as suggested by the staff so no one could get in and it didn't bother us at all. There is 24 hr reception so we could come and go early for breakfast or late for dinner (numerous restaurants nearby), and our laundry request was dealt with quickly and efficiently. We highly recommend staying at Crazy House for a comfortable and unique experience.

If you're wanting to visit Crazy House then staying here is the best way to do it. Seeing the whole place at night and then in the morning without the crowds of people is so worth it. Plus these extra special rooms will never be like anywhere else you'll sleep. It's a unique and one of a kind spot that has friendly, helpful staff and crazy surroundings.

The only down side is that when the place is open to the public even with the notices on the door telling people that someone is staying in there they will still try to open the door - so keep them locked. This isn't the hotel's fault and a symptom of the incredible location.

This property is unique. And I mean truly unique. It is a privilege to be able to stay there. Such a random night that we will never forget. Beds were funky and comfy. We enjoyed a games night in our room with the fire burning and then had a good nights sleep. Staff were really helpful and the night was peaceful. Highly recommend for a night.

You just need to be aware that it is a tourist attraction and your room is within it. The crazy house opens at 8.30am and the tourist are waiting to come in. It didn’t bother me at all as I showered before hand. I enjoyed sitting on my balcony and watching people negotiate the narrow high steps. Great fun and very chilled but people are looking at you with intrigue.

Being able to explore crazy house outside of the normal opening hours was amazing because you get it to yourself. The staff was very helpful and even managed to get us a taxi to the airport that was considerably cheaper than what we found on Grab (although we had to wait for a while, so if you're in a hurry, keep that on mind).

The room was very damp, but that's to be expected when you are in Vietnam and there is no AC/heating. This would probably have been helped by lighting a fire, as we were told could be done, but we chose not to. We stayed in the termite room, which has everything we needed and was great, but be advised that it feels quite small due in part to furniture (it is as advertised).

This is an amazing place offering a truly unique experience. By day it is a popular tourist attraction, with busloads of tourists wandering around, but once it's closed to tourists you have the whole place to yourself at night and in the morning. Lovely gardens with skywalks, a pleasant coffee shop, stunning architecture, the whole concept is amazing. I stayed in the area away from the crowds, which didn't have tourists going through the building, not in one of the themed rooms. The staff were very accommodating and facilitated an early check-in several hours before check-in time.

I loved how beautiful the hotel is. We arrived in Da Lat at 6am, so had a couple of hours to explore Crazy House without any other tourists in sight, and did that again at night. Felt like we were noticing new details about the architecture everywhere we turned! The staff were amazing - shoutout especially to Khoi for being incredibly welcoming and lovely, he very kindly lit a fire in our Termite Room as we were feeling chilly, and chatted with us about the history of the hotel. The Termite Room was clean and cosy; we slept very well in it, could close the curtains to get complete privacy from curious tourists, and were very grateful for the daily cleaning. 100% would love to stay here again

It's crazy house as it is named. We booked many rooms for our family. The rooms are among areas that tourists visit daily, no privacy, noisy, tourists gathering in front of the rooms,they wanted to open the doors they looked through windows, they wanted to come inside our rooms. The Crazy House should separate guest rooms away from tourist areas . Our vacation was disturbed and not pleasure at all. It was a mistake to choose Crazy House for our vacation. But the crazy house team is so helpful and so calm. The team organized for us to stay in areas more quiet and private rooms. Appreciate to the crazy house team .

Crazy House live up to its name, really crazy. The exterior and interior of the building is astonishing. You couldn't help but wonder. I spent a whole day just to wander around, checking and enjoying every nooks and crannies of the place. It's an adventure on its own.

Since the hotel is one of the main attraction in Da Lat, so you will see a lot of tourist come and go daily. It could be really crowded in the morning. Fortunately, I stayed on the back of the main complex, so it still pretty quiet.

It's a very unique place to stay in and it's amazing when you go on a stroll in the early morning and late evening when all the tourists are gone. The termite room was small but cute and functional. The staff were polite and nice and everything was always clean which is no small achievement with millions of nooks and crannies!

It's very loud and full of visitors from 830am to 7pm, people constantly trying to get in the room. It's a major sightseeing of the city so makes sense, but if you're planning to be out most of the time it works well! The pillows were very hard - I would recommend they invest in slightly better ones.. they also didn't let us leave our luggage post check in which is something that most hotels or hostels offer.
