Mon Cheri 2 cruise was a wonderful trip for our family. We got the special treatments from every staffs working on the Cruise from the start to the end of the trip, especially Tam and Jimmy who was so helpful, kind and supportive to each step of our journey for the whole 3 days 2 nights cruise trip. All the other staff were so friendly and helpful anytime we needed them too. They catered the full Halal menu for whole trip with the flavourful and delicious meals. We have experienced the food adventures for every meal which we had on the cruise and loved the foods so much. The room was so clean, comfortable and relaxing. We love the open balcony with the beautiful view of Lan Ha bay which was constantly changed with the different beauties of sunrise, sunset and rainbow. My son was in love with the jacuzzi swimming pool on the deck, mini golf, kayaking and swimming in the ocean. We wish we could stay longer and feel as if the time had flied so fast when our trip was about to end. We recognized that we made the right choice to book 3 days trip instead of 2 days as a family with kid because our son loved the time here so much that he did not want to leave at the end. We are planning to return soon in the future when we revisit Viet Nam and we will definitely rebook Mon Cheri 2 to see the wonderful team here again.

Nothing. Everything was perfect for us

Mon Cheri Cruises provided us a fabulous 3 day/2 night experience, from the time of our pickup limo transfer in Hanoi, throughout the duration of the cruise and our trip back to the city. Our room was spectacular, we were lucky to receive an upgrade from the Elegence suite to a Terrace suite which provided luxury and space. Dinner each evening was a gastronomic delight, served so beautifully and a reasonable time frame, you are not rushed. All the staff are amazing and absolutely contribute to the success of your cruise experience. You can choose to participate in all the activities offered on and offboard or you can find a comfy chair on the top deck and simply enjoy the views. We were lucky with the weather, but appreciate there is no guarantee of sunny skies, clear days and moderate temperatures so be prepared for whatever mother nature serves up. Price of cruise is expensive compared to other travel experiences, hotels etc within Vietnam but we feel it was worth the additional expense and recommend this cruise line.

Like many other reviews, we found the polution in the bay ( expecially at high tide) depressing and it somewhat diminished the natural and grand beauty of this heritage listed area. The number of cruise boats in the bay also seemed excessive, there should be some controls put into place so it doesn't look so touristy and overcrowded. Be prepared for bad internet reception in some mooring spots, and the push bikes we used on the village tour could do with a bit of maintenance, many were old and rickety. None of this of course is the fault of the cruise line, its just our views of what to be aware of when cruising Halong Bay

Everything was great. The staff couldn’t do enough for you. Everything is very well organised, packed with activities that you can join or just chill on the boat. The rooms are gorgeous, the jacuzzi area is great. The food is delicious and so much! The nights is definitely worth it as the activity if you stay 2 nights on one of the days was my favourite-going to Cat Ba islands and cycling there, visiting a local village and then kayaking and swimming. If you stay one night you’d miss this and visit the caves which you also do with the 2 nights. Tam and Ryann were amazing to everyone!

The mon cheri 3 day cruise was spectacular! The islands and water were very beautiful. The boat was very well appointed, modern and clean. The cruise was extremely well organised by Cherry and Dylan with fun activities such as kayaking, swimming and squid fishing. All of the staff were terrific, so friendly and attentive. The meals were delicious, with buffet for lunch and breakfast, and then a five course fine dining menu for dinner. Our waiter at meals was Alex, and he was amazing! He looked after our every need, with kindness and care. I highly recommend this cruise.

The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and the shower was great too. We really enjoyed spending time on the balcony, which was relaxing looking out onto the water. The service was amazing, with Jennie being an absolute highlight of our stay - she took such great care of us and made our experience truly memorable. The food was delicious, with generous portions, and they catered well to dietary requirements, ensuring everyone was well looked after.

Be prepared for early starts! Breakfast starts at 6:30am and activities off the boat start between 7:20am-7:45am. This gives you less time to enjoy the beautiful cabins so on our second day we chose to skip the excursion to the caves and instead relaxed in our cabin.

This 2 night 3 day cruise was amazing. The staff were super attentive, the food delicious, the rooms spacious and comfortable, oh and the scenery was nothing short of breathtaking. Only 18 rooms on the boat so very intimate setting.

Mon Cheri Cruise (boat 2) exceeded all of our expectations. The service of all staff was exemplary. From the little touches of a very special welcome (I won’t ruin the surprise), the day boat for the trips and the final goodbye. The room was very clean and comfortable and had everything you needed for the 3 days. Massive shout out to Remy who was our server for the 2 days, they went over an above to ensure all our food requests were met and my son had something he would eat as the main menu wasn’t to his taste. The food served was very tasty and we very much enjoyed it but it might not be to everyone’s taste. There was a set menu in the evenings and lunch on the trip and at times felt like there was to much food but was nice to try a little bit of everything! The main cruise boat had everything you needed, it did not feel over crowded at all. Although if you were a little late to happy hour it was difficult to find a seat. Thank you to Ducky for some great cocktails. The day boat was comfortable and clean and there was lots of space for people to choose to sit which was nice, at one point it felt like we were the only people on the boat as everyone was so spaced out. I highly recommend Mon Cheri cruise. Traveled as a family of 3, 2 adults and 10 year old and stayed in a deluxe family room.

A wonderful boat and everything was so well organised from the start to the finish of our trip. The staff worked so hard to make sure our trip was first class. The itinerary was clear from the start and so many things to do while on board. The rooms are very clean and we had everything we needed in our room. The food was outstanding and so much of it. The staff definitely make the Mon Cheri the boat it is.

It was an amazing experience end-to-end. What makes Mon Cheri Cruises very unique is probably the staff who takes care of everything. Room was well-designed and very clean, we had a great bathtub facing the water. Food was amazing; we were served both a la carte and fixed menu options at different occasions and there were no disappointments. I recommend to take 3D/2N option for Ha Long Bay cruise since one night is likely to feel very rushed, considering the check-in / check-out times and the planned itinerary.

It would have been great to include at least the soft drinks as part of the complimentary food packages for lunch and dinner. While the entire setting aims to provide you a unique, luxury experience, charging for soft drinks (that have negligible cost, compared to the price of the experience) for every single meal does not match with the rest of the vibes in the cruise.

Everything! Staff were amazing, particularly Andy, who went above and beyond to make our stay amazing - including a honeymoon drink at dinner! The cruise was unlike any other trip we have been on and we enjoyed every part. The boat’s sun deck, bar, pool and mini golf made for amazing afternoons and evenings and the packed itinerary took us into some more beautiful locations. Would highly recommend!
