Cabin was lovely

Drinks expensive and tea and coffee not included with breakfast/brunch

The staff were all wonderful-/l friendly, warm, very helpful. Beauty of the area.

The property was fine. The problem was that people staying two nights were merged with one night people so there was some repetition. Also we stayed 3.5 hours at a village where they was 15 minutes of stuff to see. Cut hours at the village and add them to swim time and kayak time for people doing the two-night 3-day option. Also loud music from about 4:45pm made it impossible to stay in a third floor bedroom yet it was too loud on the upper deck too. Music should be limited for our boat because all the other boats have to listen to the music too.

Friendly staff who were always more than willing to assist where possible. Boo was a great waiter and remembered our drink orders every time!! Food was great and there was definitely plenty of it that kept coming out at dinner and brunch.

Didn't know that the hot tub cost extra ($45 USD per hour!!)so we couldn't enjoy that ☹️ I thought that the cruise was supposed to go to another bay on the second day but we went to the same area. Didn't really travel far from the marina - could see it in the afternoons when we put down anchor.

We had an amazing time on the La Regina Legend! After looking at so many options, we chose this cruise because we were after something quiet and authentic, not overly luxurious, just genuine, and it was perfect. The ship wasn’t huge or flashy, but it was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We did the 2-night, 3-day cruise and are so glad we chose that over the 1-night option, which felt a bit rushed watching others come and go. We could’ve honestly stayed longer—it was that relaxing! While you’re not cruising the whole time, just being out on the water with those stunning views and sunsets was enough for us. The food was delicious with big portions that kept us full (and we can eat!). The seats on our balcony looked great but weren’t the most comfy—still. They did the job. We loved going up to the rooftop for happy hour, though beer wasn’t included (still cheap, though!). One of the biggest highlights was how quiet the boat was. We saw lots of packed ships, but ours felt spacious and calm. The staff made the experience even more special. The ship manager and tour guide Jack were excellent, and our personal butler Gino went above and beyond, always there when needed and respectful when not. He even surprised my grandson with a birthday cake and had the crew sing, which made everything feel so personal. Thank you, Gino, we wish you all the best!! We truly hope to come back one day!

The transfer boats could probably do with an upgrade, but looking around all the other ships had older transfer boats too, be mindful you need to catch a transfer boat to the big boat before you start your cruise, takes about half an hour, didn't bother us as we're use to small boats but may not suite everyone.

The cruise was efficient with nearly everything run on time. The food was of a good standard - with all the meals provided there is very little to worry about. You won’t go hungry either - plenty on offer at all times. The staff were friendly and happy to help throughout our stay. This is true of the guide we had on our second day (of three). We were the only guests to stay on for 2 nights (although note there is always a combination of single and 2 night guests) so our second day was just us - perfect! We had arranged transfers with La Regina and both arrived on time and took us where we needed to go. The room had all the facilities we needed including air conditioning (very necessary for Westerners visiting Vietnam in July!), lovely bed and private balcony. All the trips had what we needed to participate too.

This is not a romantic or quiet cruise; if you want that, I’d look somewhere else. The boat was full when we went and most of the other guests were quiet loud Vietnamese on holiday (it may differ at other times of the year). Personally, we don’t like timetables / schedules so didn’t warm to the frequent announcements but we did get all the activities we were promised. We didn’t get the “welcome drinks” mentioned in the original information but a minor thing.

The staff on our cruise was incredible! Daisy, Tam, Flora, and Duy were all very funny and helpful. Our cousin was a bit delayed upon arrival and Duy made sure that we could wait for her before taking off. We loved the kayaking option and the happy hour and spring roll making class were big hits! The food was pretty good and there were always plenty of options. We also enjoyed the morning cave excursion on the last day. In addition, the hotel pickup and dropoff option in Hanoi was very helpful.

There was karaoke during the night that was right by our room, so we had a little trouble falling asleep.

We loved our stay at La Regina. Liam has been very supportive from arranging our transportation to helping us plan our day itinerary as well. He has been proactively assisting us with all requirements. Our room was a duplex suite. The view from room was enchanting. Mattresses were super comfortable. We had a very peaceful sleep. We had a wonderful time in bathtub. They fed us so much food, we were always full. The restaurant is where we have the most amazing view. We also went for numerous activities in the boat. Overall had a really luxorious stay and an amazing time. Shout out to all the staffs and Liam for his support throughout.

Everything was perfect!

Very nice ship with lovely rooms. Really liked the balcony and the comfortable bed. The whole thing had a luxurious feel, and the views from the boat was beautiful. Food was good, especially dinner and breakfast. Staff was excellent, with really good service! Everything was very well organised. We ordered transport from Hanoi before the cruise and with drop off in Ninh Binh after. That also ran very smoothly. The reviews you see on here are real, as there was no pressure to give five star reviews.

Be aware that if you have the wirlpool use included in your room price, that only applies between 15.30 and 17.00. But it still gives you enough time to use it right after the kayaking activity, and was a nice relaxing experience.

We had a wonderful stay at La Regina Legend. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our time there, and we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to their beautiful Queen Suite. The entire property is top-notch and absolutely stunning. The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and genuinely helpful—making our experience even more memorable.

Jacuzzi wasn’t neat. Even thought the staff tried cleaning it twice, whenever refilled contaminated water with hair etc was getting filled in.
