The staff were exceptional, they were so accommodation and understanding. Our daughter became seriously ill and was in hospital over the 4 days that we were at 5 Residences, we were tired and quite out of our comfort zone dealing with her medical issues in a hospital that where English was almost foreign. The staff at 5 Residences were empathic and caring and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The upgrade of rooms at no extra cost was thoroughly appreciated, a far cry from the state of the hospital we spent days and nights in. The gym and pool and spa facilities were outstanding. I can't thank the staff enough. Oh and the breakfast was a highlight a tasty start to the day and safe as far as hygiene was concerned. We will be back one day , we loved spending time in Vietnam xox

I recently stayed at the Five Residences with my family of four for our Hanoi holiday and can only say great things about the whole experience. The staff are incredible and my family and I were taken care of with the utmost care throughout our trip and stay. Me and my brother contracted severe food poisoning one night and were extremely grateful that one of the staff named, Duy not only helped arrange a taxi and fast hospital check in for us at 2am in the morning, he also personally drove there with us to ensure that we were promptly taken in and cared for by the hospital staff, filled in the necessary paperwork and stayed with us until we were settled in for the night. He definitely went above and beyond with great professionalism shown and care. We are internally grateful for his help and was able to recover to enjoy the rest of our trip thanks to him. Location was good in that we weren't directly located in the city centre which allowed us to explore the local suburbs of Hanoi and experience the day to day culture more closely. The area wasn't noisy either which was really good for the nights and sleep as well. The facilities at the hotel were amazing and our family thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast, pool, sauna and gym.

Loved our stay at The Five Residences in Hanoi. The 3 bedroom was huge, clean, modern and with all the essentials. The location was next to a great coffee shop and mini market that had fresh fruits and vegetables. There are many restaurants and shopping right outside the hotel, but be careful of the hundreds of scooters that fly by! We were a little wary of the local food and chose to eat at the hotel restaurant, which was great. Tons of breakfast options, both healthy and typical western dishes. Highly recommend it for families. Having lots of room to spread out with a full kitchen and washer/dryer combo made our trip more comfortable. Additionally, the Staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything.

Built in dryer would over heat and lock the washer door.

This is a great hotel for long stays and family-friendly. It’s located near the embassy area. There is a little grocery store in the building where we buy a few essentials. The room are equipped with pots and pans if you want to do basic cooking. The staffs are friendly and polite who always willing to help with a smile. The pool is fantastic, and it’s always empty. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

The hotel was clean however they missed the window which was dirty with finger prints when I arrived. Other than that it’s clean.

Good size apartment. Cleaning staff were very good. Washing machine was useful but took ages to dry stuff and no airer to use. Nice bathrooms and large bedrooms. Air conditioning throughout. Hotel staff were lovely. Area not too bad - plenty of shops and restaurants around. Definitely a taxi ride to the Old Quarter. Gym and pool were great.

Breakfast wasn't great although there was a large choice. Only enough room keys for 3 (we were a family of 4). Lack of cups although that was remedied quickly once requested. Pricey for Hanoi.

yêu hà nội ❤️🇻🇳 My first trip to Hanoi and against a locals advice to stay in the Old Qaurter, The Five Reaidences on Doi Can Road, ticked all the boxes and then some!From the warmth of the reception and late night check-in after a cancelled flight, to the modern and Uber clean rooms & amenities and the staff…smiling, kind & generous reception, cleaning & especially, the restaurant staff. Special mention to Huie & the Manager Dyong & their skilful, attentive fun & smiling teams. Excellent service!! The argument against staying here was the distance to most of the cultural features of the old quarter with its gorgeous French Colonial influences at every turn. However, at just 70,000dng ($5AUD) to get there in a Grab or the EV version Xhan SM- and we did, multiple times- we were still in front cost wise and relaxed from the comfy rides and milder crowds! These modern serviced apartments are on par with the latest in mid range luxe in Sydney for 50% less. Doi Can Road is a fantastic eat street in its own rights and equal to any of the Michelin Guide packed & long lined joints in town. Modern German Kitchen appliances are all here but why would you cook when one of the worlds finest & most delicate cuisines is just feet from your door. Indoor pool was a hit with the kids. Great facilities, reasonably priced salon and spa. Breakfast was amazing!!! The manager also felt bad they ran out of pancakes on morning and specifically put some aside the next morning for my son. Will definitely go back and recommend it to my friends and family

Was a little way out of old quarter so tours wouldn’t pick us up. But old quarter is only 10-15 minutes away so it was easy enough to get a grab. Was actually nice being away from the pollution of old quarter

The food was great (breakfast buffet) - varied options for vegetarians as well! Staff here are extremely nice and helpful 24/7. Gym, pool and sauna were all amazing too (main reason why I chose this place). There’s a supermarket right downstairs which was super convenient. Perfect if you’re after somewhere to stay that isn’t in a tourist hot spot.

Not so much that I didn’t like, actually! Only thing is that it’s further from the areas in the city that have a lot to do, so you’ll have to get a Grab to most places… but as mentioned, that’s also one of it’s selling points!

Location is perfect for Grab pickups and airport access, and much more relaxing than Old Quarter. It's just 10 min from L's Place (best import grocery in Asia), 15 min from the huge markets at Vincom shopping mall and Lotte. It's a fully stocked kitchen, so eating at home is easy. Staff were super-professional and breakfast was really nice (they even modified things for us since we're vegetarian).

We wish there'd been balcony furniture and bed lights, but everything else was provided, including detergent for the washer. Hot water doesn't last quite long enough for relaxed showers (less than 10 min).

The service and accommodations at Five Residences were fantastic! I received above and beyond treatment with each interaction I had with staff at the location and over phone/email communication. In particular, we had one specific staff member, Chloe, who went above and beyond to make sure we had as comfortable and enjoyable an experience as possible. From suggesting places to go for our family to providing schedules and location information for all the best sights in and around Hanoi. She even went out of her way to make my birthday feel very special by organizing a birthday cake and happy birthday song with my family in our living room during our stay. Her efforts and hospitality were very much appreciated by our family! Our rooms were spacious and comfortable along with the living area and fully working kitchen. The cleaning staff kept our place very clean from check-in to check-out. It was also great to have a washing machine for our clothes after running around in the heat all day. The breakfast buffet was great with many food options and our servers checked on us regularly inquire if needed anything. All restaurants inside the Five Residences and attached to the building were very good and convenient. It was also great having a full service grocery store attached to the building.

Not really a complaint because my kids still enjoyed the pool each day of our stay and it was great to have a pool to cool off in at the end of a busy day but the circulation around the indoor pool area can use some improvement. The gym, sauna and locker room area were great however the indoor pool was the only spot that could use some slight improvements.
