Clean and well maintained property

Noisy in the morning with loud banging heard from 8am onwards. Also screaming children in the hallways and although this isn’t the hotels fault, no one came to stop this child from screaming and shouting for 15-20 minutes.

We had a 12 hours stopover in Ho Chi Minh. We booked Minh Hoang Hotel because it was close to the airport and it gave us the opportunity to have a shower and some rest. The hotel is simple, but has everything you need. It was nice to be able to check in early eventhough there is a small fee. We loved the fact there is a mini fridge in the room. Make sure to check out Bánh Mì Giòn A4 for the best Báhn Mi or phở xuân for a good local phở.

We didn’t miss anything

I picked this as an affordable place to stay for one night before my flight. I took a cab to a from the airport. I was overcharged from the airport to the hotel. I can't remember the price though. Maybe $10 USD from the airport and $5 USD from hotel back to airport or something. I would not recommend walking. Too far. Not a tourist area at all. A local street. There were little soup and noodle restaurants on the street but I arrived about 10pm and all were closed/ closing. This stay was exactly what I was hoping for. Clean, comfortable room with air conditioning. A nice bathroom. Very good price. You could stay here to tourist HCMC but you might find it far to the attractions.

Nothing.

It was near the Airport. There were enough food stalls to eat and buy stuff which are used on daily basis. It was peace and quiet as well. There were basic facility provided by the hotel hot water shower, water heater for making hot water for coffee, mini bar, some tables chairs for comfortable sitting and having food. AC working conditions good and had small fan for those who don't need AC.

It was a bit farther from main city. But using Grab can reach main city with in 20-25 minutes depending on traffic conditions. They charge for water and other things provided in the Mini bar. But should have not charged for water anyway it's still okay. Can buy water outside supermarket.

We spent two nights at this place. It has everything that you need if you need a room to stay. Shampoo, soap, kettle. Some people mentioned in reviews a hard mattress, well...it worked well for my back. Overall, this is a good place to book your stay if you are minimalist and you need to stay close to the airport.

The noise. But not talking about the street noise that was also there. But the bell for the reception we could hear in our room. We could also hear other guests and also other people taking shower and going to bathroom nextdoor.

The prices are reasonable. The security guard was very good, quickly helping us carry heavy luggage to the lobby when we arrived. The receptionist worked cheerfully, quickly, and efficiently. The elevator is spacious. The room is quite large for two people. The bedspread and blankets are fairly clean.

The bathroom should have more space to hang wet towels. There is no hot water for bathing, but that is common in budget hotels in Vietnam.

The staff were super friendly and as helpful as possible given my awful Vietnamese. We muddled through with Google translate and they were always accommodating. Everything was clean and the location was great for me. About 4 miles from district one and all the other tourists. I would recommend renting a moped and suddenly that four miles is a blessing; everything’s cheaper and the scammers and weird tourist traps are fewer and farther between.

Bed was pretty hard but I’m a posh softie so you’ll be alright with it, and that’s really the only complaint.

Lovely clean and tidy room and bathroom. Very friendly and helpful staff. Just what I needed after a very long flight delay I got to the hotel after 1am and was quickly helped by a friendly guy.. was nice to have a clean big room. I just did a one night stay to get to Vung Tau the following day. Hotel was perfect for that

The bed was a bit firm.. if you use to soft comfy beds… but everything else was good

If anyone has a very late flight or a very early flight the next morning back home then this is an excellent hotel close to the airport for avoiding traffic and rearranging your luggage. The sheets and towel were clean and although the bed was hard you are able to sleep and be fresh for the journey back. Room was equipped with fan and AC. There are enough small restaurants super marktes nearby. The hotel has an elevator. There are scales for weighing luggage, excellent before leaving country.

Bathroom is very simple.

The stuff is very friendly and helpful. It was the first time I was helped with the luggage over my all long stay in Vietnam. There are shops around so you wouldn’t starve. They let you leave your things at the lobby when you check out
