Location, reasonably quite street, room size was good, opening windows, use of a wall fan if you didn't want the AC on, or use both. Service from house keeping was great When I asked for extra pillows (as I had surgery) no problem with dropping them to my room.

Per school below on the left- loud music when they opened at 7am & closed at 6pm! Loud assembly's, Light above the bathroom mirror didn't work, You could hear people in the hall way ? may need to sound proof the doors or place something in the gap under the door. Ceilings are thin as I had to deal with a noisy person above me dragging the chair around on the floor & was a heavy footed walker. They say non smoking rooms but I could smell a smoker had been in this room before me?

close to airport, we arrived late and then departed 12 following day , location 10 min from airport.

breakfast for us was not worth having for us , we were at the last night of 3 week vietnam trip, we just needed a bath/shower and a bed .

Convenient to the airport and Gangwhoo hospital. King size bed, nice walk in shower air conditioner and bonus of lovely breakfast.

I liked everything

We have stayed in this hotel for three occasions since 2019. It is within 10-minute walk from the Hoang Hoa Tham Market and 10 minutes taxi drive (4.6 KM) from Tan Son Nhat Airport. Most rooms of this hotel are very spacious. In our recent stay, we noticed that the buffet of Solex has improved significantly, as its staff cooked different Vietnamese dishes (similar to the ones that my wife often cooks at home) every day. Meanwhile, its Vietnamese coffee is hard to beat!

First, we notice that Solex hardly gave special discounts over the years. This would be a big disadvantage for this hotel, as in the off-season, it has to compete with numerous very good 3-star hotels in District 1. Second, I personally felt the white light and white decor with black furniture of Solex to be dated and clinical. Perhaps now is the time for the owner(s) of this hotel to hire good interior designers to give this hotel a romantic touch. (I suppose all of us still remember how the lives of captain Von Trapp and his children were significantly changed when Maria arrived and brought music and romantic feeling back to his house!)

The room is spacious and airy, with large windows and very clean, staffs are friendly, breakfast is delicious. I’m very satisfied. I will definitely come back.

Spacious clean room with a good size bathroom and effective air conditioning, close to shops and restaurants. Excellent staff with good local knowledge offering good advice. The hotel is closer to the airport (which is clear on the hotel description) than the city centre so be prepared to spend on taxi fares if you wish to explore - 190,000/200,000 Dong 1 way.

Poor breakfast with little choice and if you come later no choice at all! No air con in the dinning area.

I just felt like the taxi made a few turns to get to hotel. the hotel itself looks nice
