Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, everyone was always smiling and accommodating. You can tell that it was cleaned multiple times throughout the day since the floors were always shiny. Breakfast consisted out of a buffet with fresh fruit, different warm meals, beverages, cereals and a omelette/pancake station, where you could choose between omelette, fried- and scrambled egg. A nice addon was also the Smart TV and rooftop area with a bar/cafe and outdoor pool. Central location and overall experience would make me eager to stay again!

Just a recommendation: Warm meals at the buffet could adapt one or two additional options (besides the eggs/pancakes and focaccia) for vegans/vegetarians as they were mostly based on meat.

This is a modern clean hotel with a nice rooftop pool and comfortable common areas. It is in the best location in Nha Trang city. The staff are competent, friendly and helpful. There is an excellent buffet breakfast with a changing menu. My basic double room was modern but cramped for space. The bathroom was excellent except the water from the shower head went horizontally making showering awkward. There is only one elevator to the top 5 floors resulting in long wait times. This is a problem in virtually every modern Nha Trang hotel. My room got a lot of traffic noise and a background mechanical noise at night that made sleeping difficult. The blowback from the air conditioners turned the corridor to my room into a daytime sauna. There was very limited space to hang damp or wet clothes in my room and bathroom In spite of the negatives, the Summer Hotel, overall, is good value for money.

Aside from everything else, the buffet breakfast truly stood out — an impressive spread with both local and Western options, plus a personal chef ready to whip up a fresh omelette on request. The dining area was spacious, with plenty of seating, so you could relax and enjoy your meal at your own pace. What truly made the experience unforgettable, though, was the staff. They treated me like family — warm, genuine, and incredibly helpful. Their kindness made the hotel feel like a true home away from home. The smiles from the reception staff were absolutely radiant — beautiful people, inside and out. I also had a couple of encounters with the manager, who was equally lovely and carried the same warm energy. He, too, had a kind smile that made me feel welcome and at ease. Special mention to Kiet, the bartender — respectful, courteous, and a deep thinker. We had some meaningful conversations, and his intelligence and warmth left a lasting impression. Another great smile. The doormen were always attentive, opening doors and offering assistance without hesitation. Their dedication and professionalism didn’t go unnoticed. I was honestly floored by the whole experience and will definitely be back. The rooftop pool is a perfect way to start the day, and the near-360° view of the bustling cityscape adds a touch of magic to the stay. Thank you for your outstanding hospitality. I’m so grateful to have experienced this beautiful corner of the world. Vietnam holds a special place in my heart — and now, The Summer Hotel does too. Cheers.

The staff is very friendly. The room is was nice and clean. It had balcony with coffee table and couple chairs and the city view. The swimming pool is also good and cool place to chill out.

The room was more expensive during weekdays, almost twice the price than on the weekend. Yes it’s Vietnamese summer holiday, but not for foreigners. The swimming pool got crazy loud when one big Vietnamese family arrived and started to swim, scream and shout. 🥺 Had to leave swimming pool because it was to noisy and loud even to talk to my parents.

The staff were very accommodating and even allowed me to leave my bags for the day after I checked out. The location was perfect, being close to both the beach and the city center. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options. I really wished I could have stayed longer. 🥹

The hair dryer was positioned near the shower, posing a safety risk. The entire bathroom often gets wet, which may be due to my cheaper room.

Room was comfortable and clean. Maid service was extraordinary. My room was always cleaned by the time I got home for the day. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great stay for a great price

The room had no window. Correction: it had a very small window that butted up to a wall. I would have upgraded had I known in advance. By the time I arrived, it was sold out. Really noisy earlier in the morning then I would’ve liked. But this was Us her guests and probably out of the hotels control. I was there during Tet.

The place was clean, bathroom was clean , the rooms were cleaned daily and towels replaced , we enjoyed the beach and the pool and breakfast was lovely.

Nothing , everything was up to standard , it was a last minute booking as our booked accomodation cancelled us the same time we suppose to check in but getting a booking at The summer hotel was a pleasant surprise and I was happy for the last minute cancellation by the other hotel.

We had a few problems with the first room we were given, the bedside table kept falling even after they repaired it and then the safe wouldn’t work.The maintenance man asked if we would like to change rooms and we said yes as this all happened within the first hour of being there. The next room was perfect.

No margarine or butter at breakfast, you had to ask which was a bit of a problem in the first instance due to the language barrier. It was sorted fairly well though. .

Our room layout was quite odd - we had no normal windows but a large metal window that opened out into the corridor that wasn’t locked and a window into the stairwell It was also just in front of a corridor where housekeeping kept all the trolleys and cleaning equipment so from 5.30AM till 8 ish there was banging and shouting all around us - couldn’t sleep even through ear plugs We did mention this to reception but they insisted it was just large groups checking out but it was the same for the three mornings we were there

This has been my favourite hotel in Vietnam - if you are looking for somewhere to stay where you feel valued - stay here!!! I have never experienced the kindness of hotel staff like this one - the ladies on reception and the gentlemen on the door were so lovely and always chatted with us. The rooms are lovely, the pool incredible, and happy to let you pay for late check out! If I ever come back to Nha Trang I won’t go anywhere else!
