Lovely environment. One bedroom pool villa was lovely. Breakfast was fine - good selection that varied each day. Everything was clean and staff were friendly.

The location - there is no beach and there is nothing around the location so you have to take taxis anywhere else to eat etc. The shuttle buses - only 3 a day and they were booked up more than 24 hours in advance. The ocean front restaurant - food was bland and cold.

Facilities and food

Restaurant service absolutely terrible other than the beach bar. Staff in restaurant ignored customers. Hid inside and never checked if we needed anything. Getting bill was painful. Training desperately needed.

Cramped gym facilities with poor ventilation in the cardio room Limited choice of healthy food in the restaurant There is a limited choice of shuttle buses to town (at times booked out) - given the location of the resort, it is hard to get to the city. Staff are not responding to the poolside "bells", so we needed to go to the restaurant to order drinks and food. The Thai restaurant's menu is difficult to read in the evening with limited lighting and small writing Lack of towels for the private pool in the villa

The resort itself is really beautiful and very relaxing, but the staff are what made our stay such a wonderful experience. We were made to feel so welcome, and it seemed that nothing was too much trouble. They organised a birthday cake, transport to town or for a day out, and always had a smile and a joke with our family. Fabulous breakfasts every day, and our meals at both on-site restaurants were excellent. Happy hour with live music was so much fun every afternoon. Staff work around the clock keeping the resort looking truly beautiful and the pools pristine. Our trip was a half-way point for family members from Australia and Germany to meet and it provided the perfect location for a brilliant holiday.

We were a little disappointed that there wasn’t much beach access due to the tides, but we could still swim in the ocean, and walk on the beach at certain times. Not really an issue with two amazing pools to swim in.

The little 5 star touches were missing. Overgrown bushes around room were not great, just need tidying up. Dirty ice buckets delivered to room with ice in. Staff forgetting requests made at reception, then ringing to see why you hadn’t t turned up. Slow service on evening meal. Two dishes of food should not turn up 15 mins apart. Lastly and not hotel fault, if you want sunshine, don’t book private pool room. Where hotel can do better is subbed management. Folk putting towels down on numerous subbed each, but not using them needs better management for a 5 star hotel.

Great experience and kind roommate service. Not too much choice on dinner but great cozy in dinner time, must take space out near beach, enjoying the wind whole afternoon🤘

Everything great

Loved the tranquility and silence of the resort. Eventhough the hotel was fully booked, everywhere spot we spent time at, seemed to be our own. there are two swimming pools and both of them seemed to be our own throughout the stay. The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. all our requests were answered with a YES. really AMAZING

The private swimming pool inside the villa has a water fountain that doesn't shut down at night, it was a bit difficult for my wife to sleep at night because of the sound.

The hotel is very beautiful. The rooms are spacious and the meals are tasty and not too expansive considering it's an hotel. The sunbeds are available at all times and the general pool is very nice.

The everyday cleaning isn't that good - not as you would expect from an hotel that fancy. There is no beach ! We thought there will be one seeing the pictures on site... The hotel is a bit far from the center , so you'll need a taxi to get there.

The staff was absolutely amazing and very useful! They really went above and beyond especially with our baby. The food was pretty good and varied whether it was the breakfast buffet or the meals on the menu.

Some items (like lounge chair cushions, furniture...) are dated or not in good shape and probably need to be replaced but this is obviously not too important compared to the rest.

The ocean pool was amazing! The hotel is perfect for kids. All the staff is very attentive in particular, Peem at Kampu restaurant was superb!

Even the hotel was almost empty, the service at the restaurant was slow and they couldn’t find babysitting for us. They advertised ice cream service to the room but the bike was broke when we were there.
