Fantastic find in Berat to spend a night. Hosts couldn’t have done enough for you. Charming decor in the beautiful town of Berat. We stayed in a fantastic room with views of the white bridge, the castle and the town itself. Great location for walking and taking in the town. Free parking nearby only a 2 min walk. The house is 200 years old and you feel the history the minute you step into it. Breakfast was included and lovely and set us up for the day. Rooms are cosy and charming which we loved. We were welcomed by our hosts who have owned the property since the 50s with a welcome drink which was a lovely surprise.

Our room was directly opposite the kitchen so there was a little bit of noise from the kitchen at night. But we asked for music to be turned down after 10pm and the hosts quickly obliged.

Communication with the property prior to arrival was excellent. Guidance on where to park our car etc The room was Room 6 all the way to the top, a few steep stairs to climb. Room very comfortable for our needs. Lovely decor in traditional style but with modern conveniences. Welcome drink and biscuits provided. Breakfast on the go offered as we had an early flight. Walking distance to all attractions.

High pillows. Alcove room with low ceiling, was fine for us though. Bed low to the ground, again no problem for us but other customers might not like this.

We were quite early, but they were so kind that we could leave our suitcases at the reception. When we came back the room was finished and the suitcases were already brought to the room, so our welcome was great. We even got a coffee on the house, which tasted great. Do eat dinner at their restaurant, you can taste the freshness of the ingredients and the passion from the kitchen. Also sitting in their beautiful courtyard is a great experience. Breakfast was perfect, so were the morning views from the balcony. Parking can be done on the free parking space just 100 meters from the hotel across the street on the left side.

It can be quite noisy, because the staff walks up and down the stairs next to the room for the restaurant. We were not bothered by it, but if you do, just make sure you bring some earplugs. Nothing too serious though.

We stayed two nights - one night in room 6 (low roof room, with great design and very cool bathroom!), and then one night in room 5 (close to the kitchen). The designs of the room are unique, clean and comfortable (although room 5 doesn’t have curtains on all windows). The staff were so friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was the same both mornings but delicious. Communication with the staff was easy - in person and via WhatsApp. Great location, short walk to Gorica bridge. Highly recommend!!

Stunningly beautiful,too close to the city centre and near many beautiful attractions.

Amazing family run property, extremely warm and friendly. When you walk up to the front entrance, you're greeted by a beautiful garden terrace and the owner who let us know it was once the family home for 3 generations. The food was traditional, tasty and the setting is perfect for taking in the sunset. Highly recommend staying here if you are in Berat

As it is located on the side of the valley, it might be tough to navigate if you have mobility issues however, the staff took our bags as soon as they saw us and insisted on dropping everything into our rooms.

Wow, the hotel was in such a fantastic location! Even though the rooms were small, they were just right for us. The room was super clean and had everything we needed. Our bed was so comfortable. The entire facility was spotless and well-kept, and the staff members were very friendly and helpful. We adored the charming garden, and we only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy it more. Luckily, there was a comfortable parking lot nearby where we could park our car. And the breakfast was simply amazing - we couldn't get enough of the petulla!

I was just thinking that it would be awesome if there were more dinner options available in the place. I noticed that the hotels nearby have similar menus, but it would be great to have more variety. Also, our room on the lower floor was a bit small and dark. I was thinking it would be nice if they offered 3-person options on the upper floors.

Room was very clean, bed was comfortable. Surrounding area was extremely quiet at night. Convenient location in Gorica, just a few min walk from the river to see the view of Old Town, and the bridge to go over to Mangalem.

Our room was right near the kitchen, and we could hear talking/moving very clearly through the walls at 7:30am. Breakfast was decent, but we had a swarm of several bees around us and when we asked the service people for some help, they didn't seem to care. We moved the marmalade to a different table which helped.

Owners clearly proud of their recently opened hotel with a great family backstory which they wanted to share. We apparently had their best room which had great views across the river to the castle. Views shared with the hotels multi terrace restaurant. Very friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner on the terrace is a great way to start and end the day.

The bathroom was a wet room style. Because it was quite compact most things did get wet and stayed that way. A cloth and floor wipe would have been useful. There was a mildly unpleasant smell.

The hotel has a beautiful view on the valley, the city and old bridge. The location is great? You can easily work to the city. The breakfast was great and we really enjoyed the view, the calm. The room was beautiful, traditional but modern. Very nice design. The mattress was memory foam, we slept like babies.

The hotel is located a pavement street so large suitcases, strollers and wheelchairs will be very difficult.
