A very nice room to sit and watch TV in the evening. A lot of programs for children/adult in different languages. Super shower+toilet. Good shampoo. Beautiful breakfast room.

A large spacious room, unfortunately, air conditioning was inefficient. Too strong with a large bed. Stuffy at 2 consecutive beds at the end. Poor breakfast, that is why he has no photos on the hotel offer. At night a man from the reception woke me up (he also served breakfast) talked on the phone, which was heard in the room. Poor acoustic and thermal insulation of the Hotel. The yogurt stood on the table at 25 degrees. It is dangerous to health. Please buy a small fridge or put milk products/meat on ice.

The property is either new or super well taken care of! definitely feels great to be there, room was spacious and everything was working according to expectations. There is an elevator so going up with bags was a breeze! I want to congratulate Umberta and Eleonora (sorry if I'm misspelling their names) these two hardworking girls are at the bar, they make a fantastic team and they were the ONLY staff who was there genuinely doing a fantastic job, cordial, always with a smile, attentive, proactive, etc! keep up the good work, you guys made my stay much better, I felt welcomed by you only.

The rest of the staff, there are not many parking spaces inside the premises, there seem to be lots of spaces more in the front street. Other than this, in the room I have to make one suggestion and another warning for whoever considers booking this type of room: the suggestion is that perhaps would be functional to install a door latch or stand in the bathroom, the door kept closing by itself it was a bit annoying. Now the warning is that this prefabricated corner shower is AWFUL! I am 6 feet tall and barely fit in there, each time I would turn around I would shut down the water or change its temperature by accident because it is extremely narrow and tight.

The staff were very friendly and willing to help. We appreciated that they did our laundry as we had plenty after travelling for almost a week. Staff went out of our way to get us a taxi the day we left. It was before 8am and we didn’t realise that taxis generally don’t operate until after then.

It was a bit far from old town. We knew it would be far but with the heat and the steepness of the streets it was a little too much. We were also hoping for a mountain view but were given a room with no view. When we asked if we could have a view they moved us to a room with a view of the castle so we were appreciative of that. Room was quite small so if travelling with luggage it’s tricky to find space. And some little things were missing like conditioner (shampoo was available), face washers, and tea and coffee (they provide 3 in 1 Nescafé and a green tea bag).

Nothing , Everything amazing

The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast had a lot of variety. The building is designed with a lot of charm. Overall we had a nice stay.

The shower constantly changed the water temperature, suddenly becoming very hot, which made showering very uncomfortable. The air conditioner also cooled much more than the set temperature. The view from the balcony is not as pleasant as in the photos; as soon as you step outside, there is an old building right next to it, which completely spoils the view.

We stayed only one night but the bedroom was really good, nice bed and pillow, good shout for the viewing. Bathroom is an ok size (at least in our room), the breakfast is good and the breakfast room is so pretty. We had to park our car and the staff was super helpful. The hotel is quite far from the old town but this wasn't a problem for us at all because the town is full of hills and I believe that if we had stayed closer to it, we still would use the car to go around. So for us the location was excellent because the view was stunning.

Shower was quite hard to get a constant temperature, but apart from that it was amazing proper shower.

Very friendly staff, clean and modern, comfortable rooms. Great view. Walking distance to Gjirokastra Castle and very nice town centre. It's really worth visiting. Super kind people both in hotel and town centre. We had an amazing time.

Road to the hotel was stresfull. VERY steep, if my rental car would stop on that road, I would never be able to continue driving without ending up at the bottom of the hill or somebody house. However, there is less steep road to the hotel. We followed our GPS. Beware of walking turtles on the back roads!!! The hotel itself is definitely worth booking. it's great value for top comfort.

Very clean , comfortable bed and the breakfast Is simple but filling , they even had a choice of coffee , latte , expresso etc. And the chefs were very helpful. And the shower was always hot which was great

The location it's a bit out of the way on the hill , a nice walk 20 to 30 minutes to the old Town. The evening I arrived it was pouring with rain . Mid April and trying to find a restaurant that was open nearby proved to be impossible. Anyway the lady on the reception organized a pizza delivery to the hotel which was great.

I loved everything. When I was looking for a place to stay in Gjirokaster, this caught my eye, and I felt that I just had to stay here. I’m so glad I did, the hotel is beautiful and the room was luxurious and spacious. I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The property and the room is pristine, and very accessible with the lift, which I was thankful for since breakfast is on the third floor.

This place is perfect. You will have to walk uphill to get to the castle and bazaar, but it will be absolutely worth it.
