We stayed in room 109, which was new, modern, spacious, and very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was very basic, with the same options every day, but good. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the main disclaimer is: DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL IF YOU DON'T HAVE A CAR. The hotel is up in the mountains and has no access to public transport. Getting a taxi there is difficult or impossible. There are no taxis at Pas de la Casa, so if you need one, they have to come from Andorra Velha (30 - 40 min away) to pick you up and drive you on a 5-minute journey to the hotel, which costs 50 euros. The hotel offers 2 free transfers a day: one at 8:45 am to go down to town and one around 5:30 pm ish to return to the hotel. Other than that, you need to pay 25 euros for the transfer (if they are available). Despite the transportation issue, I would recommend the hotel. It has a beautiful view and offers ski-in and ski-out access if you are able to ski on blue/red pistes.

Nothing regarding the hotel, but the information about accessibility should be VERY CLEAR on their page to prevent other guest to make the same mistake, otherwise they gonna feel stuck in the hotel like us.

The hotel has a great view over Pas de La Casa. Room was clean, large and very cozy. They offer free transfer to the slopes at 9am and return at 5pm which is very convenient. You can also rent all the necessary ski equipment in the hotel. The hotel staff was very polite, helping and giving tips to improve our experience

Position, nearly 8,000 feet up in the Pyrenees, yet only a few minutes from town by car. Staff. Fortunate to have travelled in Europe, USA, Latin America and the staff at Picmaia are hands down the best I have ever experienced. If I ran hotels I would headhunt them, every one of them. Superb. Attitude: positive, helpful, courteous, polite, just plain brilliant. Room: booked an economy room. A week before arriving wife broke her arm, was in plaster, and could not manage a bath. No problem, upgraded foc to a huge room with views to bring tears to your eyes. Food. Buffet style, more than enough in terms of quantity, plenty of variety all very well cooked. Loved the hotel and hope to return next year.

Having seen the economy room I would pay the extra and book a superior room. Well worth it.

Perfect location and easy drive to near by lifts. Clean hotel with new facilities. Cheapest ski rental in the area and you get lockers for free. really cost effective and great experience. Even the bar was nicely done with great staff helping around.

Breakfast can be improved but over all not bad.

Very interesting Hotel, in the middle of the mountains, in snow dierctly near the slopes. Please keep in mind, there are two sets of rooms: the old ones, are really something about 2-star, and the new ones, more like 4-star modern room. Depending on which room you get you may have completely different experience. I like: - Direct slope access - Winter feeling, lots of snow around (in contrast with for example Encamp) - Lounge atmosphere in lobby - View at the slopes from room - Open wardrobe - Skirent inside - Ski locker with hot air - Flexible staff - Free parking

A spacious room with mountain views. Extremely comfortable bed. Delicious breakfasts and dinners. Super friendly and helpful staff.

Franco at reception was fantastic! Very friendly, remembered our names and was very helpful. The food was great. Not 5 star, but healthy, fresh and tasty. Beds were comfy. The renovated parts of the hotel were greats

The room was a little dated but we knew that when we booked so no expectations of anything more.
