It was in a nice, quiet area yet only a ten minute walk from the heart of downtown El Calafate. We enjoyed the bar, patio, lawn with black faced ibis, and the dining area was very attractive.

It was very clean but a cleaning solution had a very strong smell that was too much. We kept the windows of our room open to let in fresh air.

My friend and I stayed in room 204 for 4 nights. I would like to express our appreciation to front desk receptionist Louis. He helped us to check in tickets, reserve taxis, answer a lot of questions because we do not understand Spanish. Hotel Picos del sur met our expectations and we had wonderful time in EInCalafate!

We had a nice stay here. The place is very clean and comfortable. The common area is very inviting with a nice patio and a bar area. They helped me sort out a pricing issue that cropped up on booking.com where the price I agreed in pesos was showing at triple the price in dollars. Phew! They also offer a nice packed lunch if doing any day trips such as mini trekking which I would recommend. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful hotel, very clean with beautiful surroundings.

The location is a moderate walking distance from the center of town. The website advertised laundry facilities and service. The hotel did not have both but they provided a cell phone number to arrange for pickup directly which was inconvenient.

In particular, the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms and the common facilities were clean and well-maintained. I enjoyed the backyard, and the common areas had very pleasant views. Overall, a very nice stay.

The location was not very convenient, but of course, that cannot be changed.

The location of the hotel is walking distance to the town. Friendly staff and helpful staff. Efficient check in and check out. The breakfast is good. About 25 minutes drive to El Calafate airport and 5 minutes drive to Bus Terminal. Beautiful and nice lounge overlooking the backyard.

The room is a bit small.

The hotel is set on expansive grounds with outdoor patio and views of mountains. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. The manager Rowena speaks perfect English and is always available. She really helped me with Spanish translation of correspondence. The tourist area is just down the hill.

The staff was responsive and prompt. I liked that there was a restaurant in case one needed to dine in. We needed a quick laundry service. The staff made that possible.

Friendly staff, they accommodated all our requests without hesitation. great location, it is close to the center and busstation. They also have a nice terrace and garden.

Rooms were large and clean, and the view from our room was great. There's good WiFi and large communal areas. Location is only a 10min walk from the bus terminal and you can easily walk to restaurants in the centre of town.

Breakfast wasn't very inspiring (lack of choice, and no fresh options). Showers were nice and hot, but poor water pressure.
