We deliberately decided to stay out of town and the location directly at the lake is just perfect, especially if you have your own car. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was good by Patagonian standards and started at 6:30 - early enough to get us an early start.

While the room was quite large, there were insufficient seating options in the room. And while there was a sufficient number of electrical outlets in the room, they were ONLY type I, which have two flat pins that form an inverted V shape, and a grounding pin. On our 2 week trip through Patagonia this was the only accommodation that did not have combo outlets that also accepted type C plugs. To their credit, they had adapters available for guests.

The view is the best part of this hotel! Every room has a view of the beautiful lake and it was def my favorite aspect. It is a simple hotel, everything is done well (cleaning is fine, the staff is nice, and there are amenities like massage offered) but nothing extremely unusual. Also, one of the best breakfast buffets I've had in Argentina, with many different sweet pastries, fruits, cereal, cheese, ham, etc

The location was a bit far from downtown and walking to the nearest restaurant took about 15-20min. It is not a huge downside, especially if you have a car, but keep in mind that if you don't you will probably need to taxi around.

Stunning views of the lake, parking and a 25 minute walk from downtown. Front desk staff didn't speak English but were very kind.

Quirky place -- breakfasts were very sparse (cereal, bread slices and ham); no espresso or good coffee. Alos, they blared dance music in the morning which was a little jarring

Amazing view from the room! The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff was attentive, responding to every request and inquiry we had promptly. We would stay in the hotel again and recommend it as a great value!

The pillows were uncomfortable. Otherwise, very comfortable bed.

Excellent gluten free options including fresh gluten free bread and cakes at breakfast. Very nice, helpful staff. They spoke excellent English and we're helpful with planning hikes etc. They made our stay wonderful! Spa pool and whirlpool were excellent and revitalizing after hikes.

I would like the pool area to be open more hours. Drinks and food were quite expensive at the restaurant and bar compared to the area.

Nice stay in Calafate. Quite far away from the Centre, but has a lot of parking lots which and very comfortable for car travelers. Great view on the lake, cheap laundry service and friendly stuff. Bed is comfortable and big, the room is spacious and nice.

It’s already a standard that electrical sockets are made for all standards (USA and EU), but in this hotel you need special adaptors and some sockets were rather weak. Also there was a windy weather and it was noisy however windows were closed and curtains shot too. So the noise reduction needs improvement.

Everything was great. It’s a bit far from downtown, but we could walk and enjoyed the stroll back to the hotel. If you don’t want to walk or depend on taxi, maybe this is not the best option. But for us, we didn’t mind walking even in winter time

The most amazing view of the lake, large room, beautiful hotel, great breakfast. The hotel is about 30-40 minutes walk from the center of El Calafate, but it's really worth the walk, otherwise just take a taxi. Also, we tried a massage and it was absolutely great!

The second room we had, after we insisted on being moved was quaint and comfortable with a beautiful view. Hotel staff were friendly
