This is an amazing, old and classy property right in the heart of Glen Innes. We had a huge, comfortable bed, with electric blanket and were very cosy. We had sole use of the upstairs lounge and bathroom. In the downstairs lounge, which we were also free to use and where we were served with a hearty bacon and egg breakfast (included in the price), there was a welcoming and warming log fire. Phil was the perfect host, he greeted us on arrival, showed us around, let us choose which room we wanted and made sure we had everything we needed,

Middle of town, beautiful heritage building being sensitively redecorated. Wonderful hosts happy to show you around, discuss their plans and chat by the fire if you wish. In spring the garden will be full of blossom. Very comfortable with a mix of old fashioned and modern keeping you warm and cosy. All you need in the bathroom and a lovely lounge to use. The hot breakfast cooked to order is a great start to the day. Amazing value.
Hard to nitpick. Downstairs accommodation if you find stairs a problem.

The Bank Guesthouse is the friendliest accommodation I have ever stayed in. The room, with a very comfortable bed, big screen Smart TV and modern en-suite was a delight to stay in. Add to that the extra touches of a bottle of wine waiting for me upon returning from my function and the full hot cooked breakfast the next morning - all for an exceptionally reasonable price - it makes this a stay that I would highly recommend for anyone wanting a country break with all the luxuries of town within walking distance. Thankyou, I’ll be back.

What a fantastic place. Right in the middle of town and lovely and clean. The owners are doing a great job of restoring it to it's original glory. Phil was happy to suggest places of interest. Breakfast was much appreciated and having the kitchen available for additional tea, coffee or making our own meals was an advantage. Would highly reccomend this to anyone wanting some time in Glen Innes. Thank you Phil.
There was nothing we didn't like on this holiday.

What a beautiful and welcoming place to stay. Phillip had the log fire burning in my room so the place was nice and warm when I arrived. The room was spacious with a separate lounge room. The place was spotless and loved all the little thoughtful extras as well as the big comfy bed. Phillip then cooked us a hot breakfast again by a log fire. This place was so nostalgic and I would return there anytime I was in the area again.
Nothing.

We were very well looked after. The room was large and bed very comfortable. The rooms have been decorated to complement the age of the building. Breakfast was tailored to our requests. We were also given a tour of the garden. We will be staying again next time we travel to Queensland.
We arrived after dark with cyclone Alfred pending and the street lighting outside was poor. Although I do believe the owner has tried to get this addressed.

What a cosy, warm and enjoyable time we had at The Bank Guesthouse! We were made to feel very welcome on arrival by Phil and shown the ropes of our spacious bedroom with private lounge (and fireplace) and ensuite. We slept very well in our super comfortable Queen bed and enjoyed a hot breakfast (included) the next morning in the dining room in front of a beautiful open fire. We also loved our tour of the gorgeous gardens with Yan after breakfast, and we look forward to returning in the Spring to see the magnificent gardens in bloom

This is a quaint place to stay in what used to be an old bank. It is like an old-fashioned B and B, with a personal touch from the owner. The room we had was very spacious. Whilst the bathroom is a shared bathroom, the owner ensured that we were the only occupants upstairs, so we had the whole level to ourselves. We had a really enjoyable meal at the Great Central Hotel across the road. The breakfast supplied by Bank Guesthouse was delicious.

I knew the minute I saw a photo of the Bank that I wanted to stay there. When we arrived, we were greeted by Phil and shown around the bottom floor and kitchen. It feels so comfortable, there are little details everywhere that surprise and delight and I am obsessed with the night light in our bathroom. Our room was really comfortable and had everything we needed. Outside our room was the kitchen, where we could help ourselves to a range of hot drinks and cereals. After a solid night sleep, I woke and pulled the curtains back and honestly felt I could have been in a cottage in UK. Phil put on a beautiful and hearty breakfast, and I was sad to leave. I hope to be back the Bank soon for a slightly longer stay and to explore some of the walking and possibly bike trails around the area.
Nothing.

Phil, the owner was a wonderful host. We had a lovely room, exceptionally comfortable bed, beautifully furnished. Being a guest house, the bathroom is shared but we were the only guests staying on the top floor for our 3 days. Breakfast was more than ample. Cereal choices, followed by a cooked breakfast. We stayed in one night and we were welcome to use the kitchen. I highly recommend this accommodation. Exceptional value.
