we wanted budget accomodation. We were hardly there, so it just needed to be warm and clean. Room was great. The absolute clincher was the microwave - being able to make basic meals was great. Room was super quiet - much quieter than the accomodation we are now paying a lot more for (and meets a different need). We will be back when we need this style of accomodation again. Comms were great. I couldnt rate the staff, because we didnt actually meet or interact with any. Being able to check in late and by ourselves was great.

Nothing.

Clean and functional, super quick hot water (which you need for snow trips). Beds were comfy with enough cushions. Importantly the room was nice and warm.

Kids would have liked a bigger TV. Rooms separated fronm another by a door where we could hear everything when our "neighbours" came in drunk and yelling (having fun not fighting) late at night. Powerpoints are in strange positions and coould only boil jug in an unsafe place. Curtains broken.

Good location, comfortable rooms with plenty of bedding.

There is a microwave and ability to cook but nowhere to wash the dishes other than small bathroom sink.

We got a last minute upgrade from our reservation for a basic room. I'm not sure what the basic room would have been like really but the deluxe room was in the other building, it is a brick building and the walls are very thick. It was peaceful and quiet. We had a bit of a view of the lake. It was a very warm and comfortable room. TV, fridge, plenty of cupboards. I couldn't fault the room, location, ease of entry or parking, everything was brilliant for which is essentially one of the more budget places around town.

The tap handle in the bathroom was ready to fall off. The spa didn't work but hey, it was a free room upgrade so that didn't matter. Beds were slightly hard but not too bad, some might like it that way. The on-site restaurant was a very weird arrangement. They do traditional oriental hotpot only. It took quite some prompting to establish that yes, they did offer chicken nuggets and chips for my child to eat. I feel if they went to a bit of an effort to also cater to a westernised customer, they would have a much more viable restaurant business.

The property is located close to the lake and a small shopping centre both within a comfortable walking distance. it has a roof top patio with tables and seating overlooking the lake. I’m not sure I’d describe it as a resort though. The rooms have a kettle, toaster and microwave which is great for preparing simple meals. I stayed in summer so there is no room service available.

Having stayed here several times this time was the first time staying on the lower floor which has adjoining rooms. Because of the doors between rooms (mine had 2 doors to access a room either side of mine) it is very noisy. I could hear morning alarms and conversations quite clearly, televisions, the bathrooms being used and the kettle being boiled. It was an issue for me with guests returning in the evening which woke me up. The outside children’s area could do with some maintenance. The trampoline is in total disrepair and has been for the last few years. It needs to be removed and the area given some attention.

The curtains were excellent - truly block out. Clean room.

The shower tap was loose, meant we could have hot showers the first day. But it got fixed. Tea and coffee was insufficient for our length of stay. When we requested more it was late in arriving.

The location, the view, the facilities, the beds, the shower, the aircon, are all great.

There are plates and cutlery to use, but the last person, or the cleaner, did not wash them properly. Some still had food on them. Make sure you wash them before use.

Facilities were good

The bed sheets did not seem to have been changed and when I went to report it, I couldn't find anybody to tell them, so just let it go. But it was disappointing

Great location - 30 mins to Perisher or Thredbo, 2 mins to Woolies to get food/ shopping needs. Room was warm and comfy with great view over the lake. There's an outdoor area to do basic cooking, we brought the travel stove to cook noodle in the morning. There's microwave, kettle and toaster provided in the room. Self check in and check out are convenient.

Price point - wish it could be lower than 600 per night but its peak of winter, acceptable.
