Very friendly and helpful staff, Rhona was really great in making us feel welcomed and made sure we had what we needed. Loved the breakfast, had Bacon and Eggs on offer as well as cereal, toast, juice and tea and coffee. Our room was clean and fresh, we were very comfortable and we had good neighbours people were not noisy. We utilised the rec room and watched a movie on prime video, had free tea and coffee, its a really good place to relax and have some fun or make yourself food with a microwave, airfryer, rice cooker, sandwich press kettle and milk is for tea and coffee. This has been a generous and welcoming stay and I would recommend anyone looking for friendly, clean and welcoming place, come on here.

Nothing, exceeded my expectation.

Bed was very comfortable and we both slept very well. Breakfast was surprisingly good and we got more than we expected. Bathrooms were very clean and kept in rally good condition.

There were university students staying at the same time we were and they were rather noisy the first night. But credit to the owners of the establishment they warned to keep the noise down and the next evening was a much more comfortable stay for us.

The only drawback was the thin walls between bedrooms, meaning even quiet talking next door was very noticeable. Ear plugs were provided, which was thoughtful.

Loved that I was upgraded to a room with an ensuite. Breakfast included was a terrific addition I wouldn't have expected from the price. Bed was super comfy. The atmosphere and vibe of the venue were perfect. I especially liked the Ducati mounted in the entrance. As a biker this was a reassuring sign that the venue is bike friendly. Also liked the secure nature of parking - off street and largely not visible from outside the venue.

I received a friendly welcome when I arrived. The room had good facilities, including a decent-sized bar fridge, smart TV, and the usual tea/coffee making. There was a microwave available in a common guest kitchen/lounge area. The bed was comfy, and I wasn't disturbed by any noise, despite being over New Years Eve. Overall, this was a convenient, comfortable, and good value base for a couple of days of adventures in the snowy mountains.

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The shared bathrooms/ showers were also very clean and spacious. Private showers with soap provided. The lady at the reception was very friendly and waited for us to arrive after we underestimated our time of arrival by a couple of hours. Breakfast was simple but good. Various creals including an option of almond milk. Some toast with simple assortment of spreads (vegemite, butter, honey and jam). And if you wanted, you could get two fried eggs, bacon, beans and two small potatoe cakes. All in all a great stay :)

The welcome was warm and friendly. The whole place has a homely vibe with landscaping and potted maples. The owners have done a fabulous job in making this a welcoming and pleasant place to stay. They continue to work on upgrades to older units. The room we were in was freshly painted and very clean and comfortable even if though the bathroom was a little dated. A really comfortable large bed, and great water pressure in the shower. The best part was breakfast (continental or cooked) was included in the price! At the modest price for the room, this made our stay great value. And they have a fantastic country-style community lounge which offers additional amenity (fridge and kitchen facilities) and is a great atmospheric place to relax in. We would be happy to return to Kookaburra Lodge again when in Jindabyne.

Our room had no sheer curtain on the window so we had to keep the solid curtain closed during daylight for privacy. None of the 3 wall lights were working and there was only one bedside light. The main light was a flourescent light.

Standard brekkie, but surprised to see dairy free milk options including barista oat! Very clean across the property, brekkie staff were great, even on the last weekend of the season. Walls are thin and we had a large group in at the same time but it was still a pleasant stay nonetheless.

Showers in the shared area are a bit coffin-like and the change room area is a little confronting (especially for the young girls in the other group). Toilet doors cut very high to go above the toilet so the door can open, which feels a little risque. Bit dated, but still very clean facilities and nothing that would keep me from coming back, just maybe getting an ensuite next time.

Spacious room and bathroom, very clean and well maintained. Great location in town and close enough to drive to the trails at Mount Kosciuszko. Check in staff was very friendly and nice! There was also breakfast included but we unfortunately didn't get to eat as we checked out at 4am for a hike!

As we were getting up early for a morning hike, we tried to go to bed early but I believe there may have been a washing/dryer machine close to our room so it was quite loud as we were trying to sleep!

Location location location, very close to WOOLIES. The 2people Room size is quite big, the Bed the comfee, room is surprisingly quiet . they renovated the shared bathroom site ( much much better than before , have space to put my dry cloth .) I like the dinning room ( the place has a very large fireplace ) The free breakfast has lots of choices , big enough for my morning snowing .:))))
