After reading reviews I had very low expectations about motel, however it really surprised me. For the peak season - the price was great. The room was spacious, had small kitchen table, heater/conditioner worked very well. Many options for pillow hight and firmness. Bathroom was clean, big and water got quickly hot which was lovely after skiing. Easy check in instructions and fun vending machine for key pick up.

Design is a bit outdated but it didn’t bother us for sleeping only

Air conditioner were weak at warming the room up. Apparently It was so cold that the heat pump was struggling. May be better off with a traditional style heater. They had a old heater that the motel cut the electricity to but didn't remove it from the room which made us confused wether it was broken or not.

This property was located in a very convenient spot that was a short drive to the shops while a short walk to the lake. Very laid back place and was quiet. Check in process was very easy.

Cleanness can very much improve in the room. Wifi didn’t work in the rooms, but did work in the restaurant area.

Spacious rooms, with bunk beds - great for families. The bathroom looks recently renovated, it's clean and large. There is a restaurant inside the hotel which is convenient. The location is good if you have a car, close to the town centre but in a quiet road.

The decor of the rooms is basic. If you don't have a car, the location is not good (the motel is on the edge of town, you will have a steep walk from town centre).

A good motel, quiet and really friendly staff that were readily available to assist us. A number of amenities there, including a ski drying room. I was quite satisfied and would definitely revisit.

About 2km from the centre of town, but nothing that can be done to address this. There is a direct footpath that goes to town.

There is no breakfast. But we are here for ski, staff recon us to go to the nearby Woolies only 3-5 min drive away.

We selected a large family room , large bed and a bunk bed. However when we arrive there at midnight, receptionist ask us to pay extra for our kids, 8yo and 9yo…. So we paid extra $100/ night

The owner is very friendly and helpful, and just great to talk to. The overall atmosphere of the place was nice and the location (close to town but not in town) was ideal. The shower was impressive - hot water in about 2 seconds!

The gutter as you turn into the driveway is a terrible angle - a hell of a bump even if you approach it straight on and slow in an AWD. Although I really like the general feel of the place, I think it could use a little spruce. Just things like big screws used to tack things to the walls, and chipped paintwork, nothing big.

Well priced, convenient, warm and clean. Good drying room. EV charger available.

Didn't know about EV charging until i found it by accident. Placed looked deserted at times.

Rooms were warm and dry. Air con in room was great for winter, the bathroom stayed dry despite 4 guests. Drying room was very handy for the snow. Common area was handy for chilling out.

The bathroom was very spacious and clean, although very cold. The beds were quite comfy too. The room was also very clean with clean towels and bathroom toileteries.

Considering what we paid for and what we got, I would not call it value for money. Only if we travelled as a big group to actually use the whole room of 8. I also do not think that 1 bathroom for 8 people in the room is enough.
