Stayed in a King Room with a balcony overlooking the toboggan hill — clean, super comfy bed, great amenities. Staff were exceptional, especially Josh who helped us with our bags and was incredibly kind the whole stay. Breakfast buffet (worth the extra cost) had heaps of options. Jacuzzi and sauna were private and relaxing, plus a warm ski drying room and games room with a microwave to save money on meals. Best location in Perisher — closest hotel to the slopes. We took the SkiTube from Bullocks Flat which was way more convenient and cheaper than parking.

Only small downsides were the snow machine noise at night (which sounded like rain) and high parking fees if you do drive up.

Everything, the location, the cleanliness, the comfort, breakfast, wifi, phone service and most importantly friendly and very helpful staff. The room was perfectly clean. The view from our room was just amazing. We had the curtains open all night.

I wish there was overnight parking available. My husband had to drive down to bullocks flat to park the car and come up via the tube. Had to do the same the next early morning before check out. This is not the hotel’s fault though

The staff were excellent. The room was lovely and warm. The bed was comfortable. The view of the mountains was fantastic. And a balcony which we weren't expecting...was so lovely to sit in when the sun came out :-) The breakfast in the restaurant was very generous and so yummy. The hot chocolate was extra special. Also pick up and drop off at the train station was amazing...thanks so much!

It would have been better if the restaurant was open for dinner but it wasn't open yet...it was going to open in a couple weeks but we were a bit early in the season. Other than that, everything else was great :-)

The view from our room, meals, drying rooms, heated accommodation, music entertainment, proximity to lifts/hire and car park, and customer service from a lot of smiling and helpful staff like Phoebe, Sebastian and waiters. Josh the manager also really helped my friends who had difficulty with online equipment hire.

The additional charge for car park over the 3 days was a bit expensive considering other expenses like daily lift access costs. I’ll book directly with the hotel next time instead of via booking.com. However Sebastien’s drive service for pick up and drop off was great.

There is no getting away from the fact that snow season, especially during the school holidays, is breath takingly expensive. But we were incredibly lucky to pick up a last minute booking here. Couldn’t ask for a better location, lovely clean, warm rooms with the most amazing views directly onto the slopes, and full access to the Perisher centre just downstairs. The best thing without doubt though was the service. It’s been a long while since I’ve experienced hospitality as professional and welcoming as the team here provided. From meeting us at the ski tube, helping us with our bags, extra treats after a long journey etc, and even helping search the floor for a lost earring back - we could not have been looked after better. And yes, the hot chocolates are brilliant!

Most challenging issue seems to be common across all resorts - getting up to date information on what services are currently available, reliable opening hours, and what current prices are. There is a lot of inconsistency between sources of information about opening times, whether restaurants are available for breakfast/lunch/dinner and pricing options and next to no information on menu offerings or prices to know if a restaurant is going to be a viable to option. For PVH it would have been great to know they offered room service and to have had a price list available in the room. Also, do check if the spa/sauna will be operating during your visit it that’s important to you.

Sam really went out of his way to encourage my daughter to try snowboarding. Such wonderful staff made the stay even more pleasant. Staying right there on the snow made it easy to go out and hit the slopes, have a rest, and then repeat. I'm definitely glad we stayed here instead of travelling every day. Would highly recommend for people with children.

Made it hard for dinner when not many places were still open for the season. Mattress on one side of the bed fealt like it needed replacing.

I like the atmosphere really lively. Food was excellent, the service smooth, and the staff were very helpful through out our stay.

The hotel did not arrange the correct transport. There were 15 of us. But no proper vehicle was provided. It was freezing near the but halt and we were nearly left behind. Fortunately the driver noticed, and we managed to squeeze in with all our luggage on our laps to reach the hotel.

Location to Perisher Valley Eight Chair Lift was great, with room overlooking the slope also. Bed and room were a decent size and comfortable.

Due to the timing of our stay (mid September) the restaurant was not open for dinner only breakfast. However, there were food options available from the Man from Snowy River Hotel and also downstairs food hall if you got it earlier before closing at 5pm ish.

There was a good variety of choices for breakfast. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Transfer service and help with luggage , great.

I would have liked the ‘mains ‘ on the dinner menu to have one or two more choices . Apart from the excellent variety the buffet offered , the general menu became restrictive after a few days .

All meals were superb. Staff were super friendly. Board straight from the mountain 😊

Beds were not good but comfy enough after a big day on the mountain. Room was dated but comfy enough. Microwave would have been nice, as would not having to fill the kettle from the bathroom sink, haha first world problems 🤣 I was also a little disappointed with the staff only notifying me that there wasn't adequate parking a few hours before arriving and I would have to park off site, it was probably advertised adequately on their website when booking but I missed it.
