The location is excellent as we used the chairlift and gondola regularly. We came the hike/walk and had a great experience, particularly hiking up Mt Kosciuszko.

Other guests had children that were a little to forward. We were happy to be friendly and share the common spaces with others but not all the time. Some of the prices, including at the Foodworks, were outrageous.

We had the chance to have our lunch and dinner in bed. The location was located strategically and the place was really convenient to locate.

We cannot think of anything to disklike about the property but we would like to suggest something about food service. It would be ideal if the guests can be given food choices for every meal. I would also suggest that we could get fresh towel every day.

The food was very good at all meals. The chef was always very friendly. Very good beds. Excellent location.

Only the room heater was not working very well. I missed a hair dryer as it is very cold or when we wash at night it is an important item.One of the room heaters wasn't working and the other one wasn't heating up properly. I really missed a hair dryer as we are in the middle of the snow and we wash our hair and come out froze. Besides, if we wash at night, we have to sleep with wet hair. Another factor is that there is no reception or someone we could communicate the issue of the heater or ask for the hairdryer, as the hotel does not have staff. Only kitchen staff at meal times. We also have to remove the bed linen at the end of the stay and leave the room organized, I have never been to a hotel where we do this kind of thing.

Clean, comfortable room, great location in village, nice cooked breakfast. Luggage lift was also useful as we were on the 3rd floor and there are only stairs. Lounge area was very cozy with lots of comfy lounges and a fire.

Parking motorcycles was a little tricky but it was the Snowy Ride (motorcycle rally) with several hundred bikes. When we came down a little early for our breakfast the Chef/owner(?) working in the kitchen was a little stressed/grumpy as we were early. They still made our breakfast but the atmosphere was still a little awkward as he was clearly unhappy about it.

Fantastic Location, comfortable common areas with a great view of the mountains, lovely healthy meals and friendly, helpful staff. We were first timers to Thredbo and this was the perfect place to stay.

Some nice coffee making facilities would be a nice way to start the day.

The location and communication was outstanding, along with the communal facilities including the outstanding catering. We were spoilt with the meals and the fusion of flavours created by the chef. I would definitely stay here again; it was very welcoming and homely.

Food and variety excellent. Nice to be able to have cooked meals at the lodge. No waiting for a table or service outside. Location right in the centre. Very easy to get around.
