Fantastic 2 BR apartment in a great location. The facilities were great and the apartment was very roomy. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a more of a suggestion than something we didn't like ... when staying in a serviced apartment, people often self-cater. The only supermarket in Kiama is currently closed for renovations. I understand this is temporary but this information would have been very helpful to receive prior to arriving, walking to the supermarket and finding it does not currently exist.

I liked the apartment itself - it was so clean when I entered, I didn't want to wear my shoes! The bed was very comfortable for me to sleep in. The living areas (lounge and dining rooms) were spacious. I highly appreciated the dishwasher! I also like how close the accommodation was to the train station and broader Kiama town centre. The apartment truly felt like a home away from home. I put a slight smile rating for the staff because there was no need for me to interact with them - thanks to the self-check in and check out feature!

I didn't like how there wasn't oil, which meant I didn't use the stovetop or any of the pots. This wasn't a huge hassle, considering each guest has different oil preferences, and the pots likely aren't dishwasher-friendly.

Staff would check what you need in the morning, as they made their service rounds ( unless you put the 'do not disturb sign' on door) which was great, as we asked for an extra towel per person for the spa, and they restocked coffee/ laundry powder supplies as used. The apartment was large and spacious, with plenty of room for a family or 3 -4 and good RC air conditioner/heater in lounge room.You could have dinner for 4-6 easily as there is a 6 seater table inside with another 7th matching desk chair and there is a table setting for 6 on the balcony. It was lovely to have a full kitchen with a full oven, hotplates, a full-size fridge/ freezer, and a dishwasher. The laundry supplied laundry detergent for washer and had a dryer/ iron board/ mop and bucket for any sand or water to be wiped up and other equipment. Bedrooms were comfortable with portable air con units that were very effective, and I noticed their were oil heaters in cupboards. There was plenty of storage space. Our beds were very comfortable. The spa was a good size with good jets, and we were next door to Woollies/Safeway. It was handy having 2 separate toilets, one in spa bathroom and the other in laundry for when someone was using the spa. Our carport underneath was manageable for even learner drivers to get out of the space. The pool terrace and BBQ area were great. We loved using the pool daily. If you needed to speak to staff, you could as they were available for some times at reception, not sure of times, but we caught up with a staff member twice as we passed the reception area. Otherwise, you can ask staff as they make rounds in the morning if you need anything, like we did with towels.The reception check-in process with the machine was easy. We were within walking distance of restaurants and shops.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like. We would stay here again.

The 1 bedroom unit was very spacious and it was well stocked with everything that we might need. Its position was extremely close to a Woolworths and shops. Kiama Leagues club was an easy short walk when we wanted to eat out. Although we overlooked the main road, in general it wasn’t as noisy as I feared, just the occasional heavy vehicle.

The only small thing was that there was no heater in the bathroom, not too bad at this time of year but would be cold in winter. With the key box check in I missed the contact with the staff, but do totally understand the practicality.

It was a great space for the whole family to enjoy. We had plenty of room and weren’t all cramped on top of each other. Plenty of lovely restaurants and eateries around and lots of things to do. We didn’t use the car the whole time we were there.

There is only a split system ac in the living room, the bedrooms had portable fans but they aren’t enough in the hot weather. Ac is 100% required in the bedrooms in order to be comfortable in the hot Aussie summer, even just portable units would do for now until an upgrade can be done.

Reception unattended but the instructions we'd received for automatic entry worked well. Plenty of room in our two-bedroom apartment, kitchen facilities were excellent and the wrap-around balcony a bonus. Good pool, although a little cool due to the absence of sun. Cleaners did their basic daily clean up discreetly. A couple of blocks downhill to get into the CBD.

Wasn't an issue for us but there was a flight of stairs to be negotiated and the shower, in a spa, has to be stepped into and out of.

Place very close to shops and amenities, rooms were large enough to fit everyone in. Full kitchen, large fridge and dining area. Enough seats for everyone. Aircon was good and they also has fans and heaters if needed. Loved that they have a spa bath and shower in the main bedroom. Which was very large with a tv and lounge. Very quick and easy check in process. Would recommend for large group.

I enjoyed the pool and the rooms were spacious. A very good spot in the area. Table and couches and beds were good.

Nothing that I didn't like. We did arrive late and didn't know about the self serve check in. Was a but confused but got there in the end. And unfortunately due to the car park spaces it was a little tight to park. I do remember that we couldn't open the windows properly and wished we were able to open the windows a bit more for some fresh air.

Large, clean and well located for our purposes. The Apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Nice large balcony. It was walking distance to Woolies, cafes and restaurants, but still very quiet. It was an easy 5-10min walk to the harbour area, then 5 mins on to the Blow Hole and Light House. Reception was closed when we got there. But check in via the machine was quick and easy, and the key was dropped out like a vending machine. Although, apartments are not serviced, we did have staff knock on our door the second day to make sure we had enough supplies, like towels, soap etc. There is one bathroom, but there is actually another toilet in the laundry, which always helps when travelling with a family.

It was very clean, well placed at the start of the main street, close by to everything. The apartment had everything you may want. Staff stocked the sugar, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, salt & pepper, milk, etc, and bathroom/laundry/kitchen cleaning products everyday, very generously. The kitchen and laundry had all the modern conveniences, washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, oven, cook top, and cupboards were well stocked. The bed, the sofa bed were very comfy, the linen nice, the pillows were good too. The Netflix and the big TV were a nice surprise. The swimming pool area very kid friendly safe. It truly is a nice family apartment that is an easy stay, Management were very informative, very handy to get to Jambaroo fun park from also.

The only thing is I didn't have a TV in the bedroom, which is minor, but I do enjoy laying in bed watching the news with a morning cuppa, but the lovely people watching balcony and weather accommodated that instead. The thing I will take a point off for is the stairs, there's a lot of them to the apartment, and with groceries, luggage, even empty handed, they were tough for me. Everything else was lovely.
