I loved there was cutlery for the group of 5, pretty tidy/clean, staff were helpful and friendly when we checked in. Would definitely be a place I would consider staying at again. Loved that we couldn't hear the bar from our room as we needed sleep

Being a family and Motorbikes waking us from the room next door, cockroach 🪳 in the shower ( better there than in the bed though), needed one more towel to cater for us, I could have called but we were at functions all day 9am till 11.30pm so I would forget till we returned to the room. Am sure towel would have been sorted if I had requested

It was central to where we were going. Bottle shop, bar , restaurant in one place. Even won a few dollars on Keno while having a lovely dinner. Bed were comfy, shower was hot tv worked, it was quiet and the room was clean. Great communication between the hotel premises and myself. Will stay again.

There was nothing not to like. There was a lady that was abit snappy about the room, but we were 30 mins early and just asked about it. They were in the lunch rush.

A little bit off the beaten track, within walking distance (15 min) to Lake Illawarra foreshore walk - lovely there. Only 15 mins drive to the much more expensive Kiama and other local spots, so it made a nice quiet base for us. Hotel Bistro very good, staff very kind and friendly to us ‘older folk’. $5 voucher for $ off drinks or menu, join the Publinc app and get further worthwhile discounts. Newly renovated rooms and bathrooms are more than three star standard. Size of bar fridge helpful (bigger than some). Near shops and facilities (walking distance). We stayed mid-week. We thought it was a bit of an undiscovered gem for this type of accommodation - units 23 and 19 (we came back a second night).

Smokers chairs on verandah - at one point neighbour’s smoke came in, but it was only once. We just shut the door :)

Lovely area, food top tier in the pub. Room was neat with everything functional. Room service is self service as staff are limited but you can take food back into the room if you want :) which is a great touch. You've got to experience the pub food, the KFC style burger is top tier.

Back window does allow a clear view into the room, so best to have the blinds down.

The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. Plates, bowls, glasses, teacups, large teacups and cutlery for 2 plus a microwave. Powerpoints next to both sides of the bed. Not too noisy even on a Friday and Saturday night. Woolworths and Chemist Warehouse close by.

You need to check-in in the bar. Might be off putting with children. Bed lights are in the ceiling, so quite bright.

Clean, comfortable, hot shower, good meals at Hotel, friendly staff.

A couple of maintainence matters Room 1, door stop to entry door not fixed fully, this will allow door handle to smash into mirrored wardrobe door if not fixed. Towel hook on back of bathroom door, attached with flexible wood glue, of no use at all Only one chair in unit, and only one outside chair and no table, very tricky trying to have a coffee outside, with no where to put in down comfortably. I would suggest possibly just a wall mounted shelf and additional seating.

Room was very clean and well presented. Lovely touches like free bottled water, and good to have a toaster, microwave and coffee maker. The refurbished rooms look lovely with fresh looking colours. Bathroom nice and modern. Proximity to great local pub with good food a plus.

Could have used one more towel rack in the bathroom. For some reason couldn’t get ABC on the TV.

Love the location. For us it’s perfect as we’re there to visit with friends in Dapto. Also it’s a good price, it’s quiet and parking is easy.

The room itself (room 2) was very drafty as there is a large gap around the door frame of the main door into the room where you can see the external brickwork from inside the room.

Check in experience was fantastic. Great customer service, room was clean. Great food and priced very reasonable

The window could use an extra covering, such as some lace or sheer blind behinf the normal blind. That way you can let the light in and no one can see in from the outside.

Big and clean bathroom with great shower pressure. Parking right outside. Bed comfortable. Easy check in and check out.

TV Remote control seems not working normally but that is minor. We tried the pub food which the steak was over cooked (they offered to do us a new one but we do not want to waste food so declined).
