For a last minute choice of accomodation the hotel was okay. The room meet the minimal needs, it was clean & tidy and separate to the bar/gambling area so once you got to the bedrooms there was no smell of smoke or alcohol. You also have a desk & chair and a sofa chair for those who like to use these. The basics are all available. Mostly quiet except any noisy clients using the shared bathrooms late night/early morning.

The parking lot was small and lacked shade/shelter and there wasn't parking specifically for those staying at the accomodation. While the lack of shade/shelter is okay dependent on weather, it sometimes got tricky looking for parking at certain times. The hotel lacks accessibility to the non-mobile or parents with prams and the like. It's good for the healthy traveller, but not good for anyone with mobility issues. The water temp for the shower fluctuated wildly. You set your temp and it might stabilise for a minute but after awhile the temp might drop from hot to cold and back to hot again. Fortunately it was summer so I didn't freeze or catch a cold but there were times I was concerned I'd get burnt by the hot water.

The food from the Bistro was great. It is the second venue in Australia that does the Hot Rok. Keep it up. It was thoroughly enjoyable, and the whole staff went out of their way to make our stay well worth it. You will see us again before the years out.

We had to use a walker and only had stairs to access our room. A significant problem when dealing with people with mobility disability other than that problem everything was great.

Place was very clean and comfortable. Great bed and quiet. Bar downstairs and tge bistro with good choice for meals. Parking was better in the local streets rather than in the small hotel carpark. Bit tight in there. 5 minute drive to plenty of places to eat.

Not alot of eateries closeby in walking distance..

No breakfast but dinners were great Room was very spacious & well kept.

Parking big problem as filled with hotel customers. Should have spaces alloted. Had to park almost 300 metres away a few times . Also could use a canopy or similar as boiling hot 🥵 when entering car in the morning!

Clean, newly renovated, well appointed, lovely staff. I was originally in a room with an adjoining door to a room with a very noisey snorer so they uograded me for free to a much better and quieter room

Hotel is connected to a noisy pub that had loud music and noisy people outside until 11pm Saturday when I stayed - however noise died down by about 11.30pm

The location was easy to navigate north and south, rooms were a good size with descent bench space for tea and coffee facilities. Bathroom was also a great size. Loved the extra corner bench in there.

The noise in the car park from patrons at 3am onwards especially Sunday morning. The bright car park light above room 5 made it like day light but I understand it is for safety and security reasons.

We loved the bistro, food was great and open till late every night. Drinks were reasonably priced. Atmosphere was great, had a great time. My only 2 issues were staff in charge of cleaning rooms only supplied us with 1 towel, (minor detail), and because it’s winter, the room had no heating and we were cold both nights. Other than that the room and amenities were quite good.

Another blanket on the bed would have been great since it was winter

Quiet Sunday evening offered a lovely meal (roast of the day) git there late and it was tempting and available. Ladies at the bar were lovely as were the patrons I sat with for a while. Clean room and communal bathroom. Cheers

Air con rocked bar downstairs was awesome, staff great....

Got woken at about 3:30am people sitting in the car park near the entrance talking loudly... came close telling them to F off, then realise my window was open, closed it, and the talking was silenced. Parking could be an issue on a busy night, otherwise nothing to not like.

Room was great had all facilities needed as well as air con and fan, everything was clean and comfortable, staff was amazing and very helpful definitely recommend staying here and the price was reasonable.

Car park can be hard to get a park at times, I just waited for a spot which wasn’t long I know this can’t be helped since small area.
