It was a lovely, spacious 1 bedroom with good furniture layout and large kitchen. Air con worked well, the bathroom is modern and clean, and the view was nice.

Giant stain on the sofa so we ended up not using it at all, didn't know that the room service needed to be requested separately so had to ask separately for new towels, the lift also takes way too long. Also didn't like that the king bed is actually two single beds pushed together. However aside from these factors the hotel was perfect for our needs.

Location was good and central, the apartment was spacious and bigger than expected. It was great to have a full-size fridge and freezer, and separate areas for relaxing, eating, and sleeping. The kitchen was well equipped. The person on check in was great and really helpful, advising us on parking for our overheight vehicle. (We ended up parking on the street outside and moved it in the morning before the restrictions kicked in). We travel to Wollongong often, and would stay again.

The king bed was two singles together and while one half was great, the other half was very soft and a big saggy. The lift was painfully slow, and when we attempted to take the stairs found we couldn't exit on the ground floor as the door was locked.

Had a really good experience staying at Mantra Wollongong. The 1 bedroom unit was clean, spacious, and had everything I needed. The bed was comfy too, and overall it felt like a nice home away from home. I appreciated the heater being turned on before checking in and the TV was on. Felt warm and welcoming. Staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in and check out was quick and easy. No hassles at all. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Wollongong. Great value and just a really easy, comfortable place to stay at.

Self contained apartment allowing meal preparation and including a washing machine. Having a room with a balcony enabled the use of the supplied clothes rack to dry the washing each day. Housekeeping attended twice during a week long stay to replace towels x2 and bed linen x1 which was not expected and appreciated.

The lounge was not comfortable, there was a torn sheer curtain in the bedroom. The fridge leaks onto the floor a bit and there is a leak under the kitchen sink

Excellent location, spacious room and in-room facilities and overall excellent value for money

Car parking. It takes a little bit of more effort and caution to safely enter and park due to physical structure/layout of parking spaces. It is even more difficult for people like me with vision problems. I also suggest that the booking system should have an option to select car parking to ensure a comfort of parking certainty, particularly for people with disability.

great location - was nearby central town area so can walk over, with UOW just 1 train station away, and access to station was right across the street. Big comfortable rooms that are clean, with good facilities. easily accessible carpark was great too. This is 2nd time staying at Mantra!

The WiFi speed is still slow - please look into getting a cable into building instead of relying on radio transmitter, which WIFI will drops off whenever rains. Compared to stay 2 years ago, the room walls, window frames and bathroom walls of assigned room need to be redone - multiple areas have cracks or paint flaking off. A few more utensils for guests to make simple meals would be appreciated, please.

Like the spacious clean rooms

There was no heater in the bedroom only in the living room, so it's was cold in the room. Also, it would have been nice to give fresh towels every day. Room wasn't made up when we left the make room up sign. Exactly 2 glasses and 2 cups, no spares, which is inconvenient, that we have to wash each time we wanted to drink. Rather than have a few and then use the dishwasher at the end of the day. Not sure why a few couldn't be kept in the room rather than just 2 each.

Room was spacious, and super clean, and the bed is comfy, reception is open late, clear instructions on how to access after-hours and secure access to the building from the car park and front entry. It is fairly quiet during the day and after-hours.

It is on the opposite side of the city, and about a 20-30 min walk to the Wollongong city beach, which i did not realise when booking :( Check in wasn't the smoothest, and I found the reception to be unwelcoming. However, he may have just been having a bad day?

The 2 bedroom apartment was spacious, comfortable. The sustainable toiletries are a good idea, however, it would be great to change the bottles every 6 months or so to keep them looking fresh. I liked the product.

Glad we didn't book parking because you can park outside the hotel after 12.30pm on a Saturday. It is a little outdated but still very comfortable.

The balcony was the best, one bedroom apartment was really nice with the balcony in summer, great. A really nice apartment.

It could have been cleaned better. There were still class rings on the coffee table so it wasn't cleaned very well. It wasn't dirty just not cleaned well. Also pets were allowed witch I didn't check. Not for me. There was no restaurant or food or drink, and the local coffee shop recommended was closed, they deed to update their site and their recommendations.
