The location is amazing! Perfect to move around if you dont have a car but also if you do the carpark is very good and the car sleep safe, excellent place to hace holidays. The room was very big for us 3 the bed very comfortable, the toilet+shower very big too, is not modern but we didnt look for that, we just wanted to have holidays in the beach and this was the perfect location and place to do it. We went for walks everyday to the beach and dinner out is just out the door all the places for eat.

Didnt have microwave thats all, being with a baby i would of like a microwave but the rest was all perfect.

Ideal location for my weekend in Wollongong. Short walk to beach & Entertainment Centre, shops & cafes right outside the front door on Crown St. Off-street parking very convenient for that part of town. Not flash, but functional and the staff were very friendly.

Rooms aren’t exactly 5-star but you know that going in. Crumbs under toaster in cupboard wasn’t a good look, stains on carpet, and the decor, fittings, switches & power points are all getting close to needing replacing or a refurb but it’s generally clean and a great place to stay.

Wollongong is a lovely old town. The room was dated, which I also love! I'm a child of the 1970s. The staff are so very polite, Kiera was more than helpful. We had booked into a room upstairs but when I asked about that at reception, she immediately knew I would prefer to be on the ground level, and beating me to it, she said 'Would you prefer to be downstairs". That's brilliant! I think she read my mind! Myself and the GF LOVED the place, it was everything we imagined and more.

The fact that we could not stay longer. People have jobs, and we're people! I feel like this questionnaire is prompting me to say bad things, but I don't have any bad things to say!

I went to Wollongong to see a band and needed an overnight stay. I normally spend more on accomodation but I just needed a clean quiet room and a bed. This was perfect. The car park is secure. The location is amazing - lots of places to eat and very close to the venue I attended.

The motel is a little run down but the staff were amazing, and the room clean and quiet.

The room was quite large and very clean. Everything worked, including the TV, AC and the kitchen facilities. The bathroom was clean and there was good pressure and hot water. Beds and linen were also good. The check in staff member was very easy to deal with. I've noticed a number of reviews mentioned it being noisy. We stayed two nights and didn't have any problems.

The Downtown Motel is an older 1980s style motel and is clean and comfortable with clean linen in the bathroom. there are limited facilities but a kettle and toaster and small fridge were in the room. The receptionist was friendly and accommodating and the whole experience was made easier by her assistance. Value for money.

Finding the entrance on the first visit can be difficult given the location in what is now a one way street.

Excellent location and very cheap. Secure parking too. Was definitely worth saving some money and coming here instead. It's very old and dated but this didn't bother me. It was clean and the room was large. Reception closes early so I had to process it over the phone as I arrived later, this was easy so not a hassle.

Staff were friendly on arrival. Conversation was easy. Clearly explained access gate and where the room was. Advised places within walking distance. Loved the room, very basic but clean and tidy. Bed was great. My son loved the complimentary biscuits. Would have been a big bonus if the freezer had worked but everything else was spot on.

i DID NOT APPRECIATE THE VERY SHORT NOTICE ABOUT YOUR OFFICE CLOSING AT 5PM AND DID NOT OPEN THE PHONE MESSAGE WHILE I WAS DRIVING THERE AND I DO NOT ANSWER MY PHONR WHILE I aM DRIVING.I had to pay to go elsewhere, Every other motel I have ever stayed at is open until at least 6pm or is contactable.

Location was great in the middle of the city close to all the major places and the beach. Room is complete with all the requirements. Bed was big enough for 3 of us and comfortable as well. Staff was very friendly and helpful and always ready to help.

Wifi was bit slow and disconnecting most of the time. Noice of the music bar near by was bit too much.
