Paul and Craig are excellent hosts who made us feel welcomed from the moment we got there. Rooms were very comfortable, and the living area was fantastic with modern heating and a cute library area where my wife and I spent hours playing board games and reading books. Breakfast was amazing and just the thing you needed to start the day. Dinner is a must, Pauls skills in the kitchen are the epitome of fine dining so there is no need to go elsewhere to eat. There are plenty of places to visit in the surrounding towns or just sit back, relax, and enjoy your time at Hillcrest. Thanks again guys well done.

Craig and Paul are the best hosts. So welcoming and friendly . We shared a few laughs and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. Paul prepared us an amazing three course dinner and breakfast while Craig always assured we had everything we needed. The accommodation is very well maintained with lots of attention detail. Fabulous for a romantic getaway. The B&B shared space has a library, fireplace, own fridge and little kitchen area and is very cosy and comfortable. The best thing was the daybed on the deck attached to the room with the most amazing views. Absolutely stunning!

From the moment we arrived we felt at home with a friendly greeting from Craig who showed us around the lovely property and then to our beautiful room, which was in the main house. We were offered a three course dinner, but sadly declined as we had bought food with us from home that needed to be eaten. However our friends accepted and had an amazing dinner prepared by Paul, (sorry we couldn’t go, we will next time.) Wonderful nights sleep in the comfortable bed and then a scrumptious freshly made breakfast. Craig and Paul have made Hillcrest into a wonderful B & B and truly are the hosts with the most. Amazing stay, would 100% recommend. A beautiful setting and the hosts are incredibly personable. You feel like you have privacy, freedom and a place to wind down or use as your base for local nature and trials, but at the same time feel as if you've been welcomed in to their life without feeling like you haven't got the option. Food, wow, what a chef! Value for money was really pretty bloody good. Location is great, we enjoyed doing trails and waterfalls around Sprinbrook and checking out some of the local villages etc. Go stay with these guys you won't regret it.

Paul and Craig are exceptional hosts. This is the second time we stay at their Air B&B and we will definitely head back again in winter for the cosy cottage experience. Besides the tranquility and magical views from their property, you are treated from the minute you arrive like a friend. Paul & Craig are great to talk to and Craig has a great sense of humour. And we can't forget to mention the excellent home made dishes made by Chef Paul. Highly recommend staying there!

If you’re looking for a relaxing weekend away then this is the place for you! My hubby and I loved every minute. The views, the attention to detail in every room, the food (oh, the food!!!)and the most genuine and friendly hosts Paul and Craig. So nice having dinner and a bottle of red with just a few steps back to your room! The menu is fabulous and the wines (we tried two) were perfect. Paul also makes an amazing espresso martini! We were also super close to lots of quaint towns and cute coffee shops. Don’t hesitate, just book!

Very welcoming and homely accommodation. Peaceful and tranquil setting. Close to sightseeing and shopping by car. Lovely views of mountains and countryside. Food provided by hosts is beautiful. Ordering dinner is optional but would recommend. Very much enjoyed meeting the other guests at dinner although we all sat separately at tables, restaurant-like. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

The property is in a beautiful spot with a great view. Paul and Craig are awesome, super helpful and they prepare a super healthy and yummy breakfast with many options and amazing coffee. The room, bathroom, living room, garden and common areas were super clean and organised. We loved it, had a super pleasant stay and definitely recommend it to everybody to stay at Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat!

Craig and Paul have created a most welcoming atmosphere just like staying with friends. Dinner was exceptional with so many delicious choices. Breakfast was fresh and varied to suit all types of morning appetites. Our room was comfortable, clean, very relaxing and well appointed. Loved the sitting room area with the warm fire on our winters evening stay. The view of the mountains and the surrounding countryside from our veranda was spectacular. We would love to visit in summer to swim in the pool and dine out on the veranda. Something to plan for the future. Hillcrest Mountain View Retreat is not just somewhere to stay - its a memorable experience with wonderful hosts and pleasurable dining.

We ran into an unexpected spot of magic on our road trip when we just happened to book at Hillcrest Mountain Retreat. This is a serene oasis in a green valley fringed with mountains. The accommodation is immaculate: the bed, pillows, linens, facilities all sublime, and each evening can be capped off with an outstanding meal cooked by your personal chef Paul! To say it was restaurant quality would be an understatement- this food would not be out of place in the finest of restaurants. Paul and Craig make the perfect team to ensure their guests receive the full five star experience. Despite our rush to get up the coast we couldn’t help but try to book another night. Alas, but not surprisingly, they were fully booked (the majority of guests here are repeat customers). This time though, the gods smiled upon us with an unexpected cancellation! If you can get at least two nights here, I would encourage you to do so. It’s a great base to explore the local area and return home to a genuine retreat at the end the day, or just chillax the whole time in these tranquil surroundings
