We came to town to ride the completed part of the Northern Rivers rail trail. Access is literally right across the road and start of it less than 1km away. Motel is clean and quiet as not in centre of town. Secure parking and lovely outlook . King-size bed neat bathroom. Basic plates/ toaster / kettle / microwave in room. Rooms have everything you need. Owner Susie is lovely and accommodating and very helpful with local knowledge.

Perfect location - just on the outskirts of town which suited me for my trip. The easy check in procedure was appreciated as I had a late check in due to my commitments. The room was tidy, clean, and comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The only very minor thing is you can hear some road noise during the night of passing freight trucks. It was hardly a bother though.

Great location for a short stay when attending an event in the area! Well appointed and comfortable room! Appreciated the free bottle of water :)

Noise from outside the room (inside other rooms and outside in carpark) could be a little loud at times, but was not a concern during sleeping hours. Only a very minor concern for a comfortable short stay at the hotel.

Our room on the ground floor (no 4) was reasonably spacious. The king bed was very comfortable. Great hot shower. Our room was serviced every day.

Squeaky doors. Air conditioning needs cleaning. The external photo of the motel doesn't completely correspond.

Susie (owner) was a charming hostess who made us feel at home immediately, the room was clean and comfortable with a lovely outlook on the river. We had a very pleasant stay and would be happy to book again.

Nothing really. Not much you can do about neighbours who leave for work at 5am and idle their car for 10 minutes before they leave!

Big rooms, firm and super comfortable enormous king bed, friendly welcome, great location for gallery visit and rail trail. Separate toilet and bathroom a win. Easy to make breakfast with kettle, plunger, microwave, toaster, crockery, cutting board and utensils.

The rooms were a good size with great shower facilities and a comfy mattress. It is close to the rail trail. The owner is onsite and very personable. Town is a short drive away.

It is close to the main road/hwy and so there is some traffic noise through the night.

I felt that 'Susie' was very friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed out stay, immensely.

It took us a bit to figure out the heat, but that was on us. hahaha Not Susie's fault at all....if we had asked her, I am sure she would have been more than helpful!

I had an exceptional stay at The Gallery Motel in Murwillumbah. The room was incredibly comfortable and spotless, making it the perfect place for a restful night’s sleep. The location is ideal, and the owner is welcoming and extremely helpful. I would gladly return for another stay. Highly recommended!

Nothing at all to dislike. The rooms were fabulous and included ample power points and also a power board with USB sockets for phone/watches/ipads etc. Amazingly friendly and helpful owner who made sure everything was suitable for our needs. As we were travelling with a mobility challenged family member, the owner made sure everything was suitable for us.
