We came to town to ride the completed part of the Northern Rivers rail trail. Access is literally right across the road and start of it less than 1km away. Motel is clean and quiet as not in centre of town. Secure parking and lovely outlook . King-size bed neat bathroom. Basic plates/ toaster / kettle / microwave in room. Rooms have everything you need. Owner Susie is lovely and accommodating and very helpful with local knowledge.

Perfect location - just on the outskirts of town which suited me for my trip. The easy check in procedure was appreciated as I had a late check in due to my commitments. The room was tidy, clean, and comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The only very minor thing is you can hear some road noise during the night of passing freight trucks. It was hardly a bother though.

Noise from outside the room (inside other rooms and outside in carpark) could be a little loud at times, but was not a concern during sleeping hours. Only a very minor concern for a comfortable short stay at the hotel.

Susie (owner) was a charming hostess who made us feel at home immediately, the room was clean and comfortable with a lovely outlook on the river. We had a very pleasant stay and would be happy to book again.

Nothing really. Not much you can do about neighbours who leave for work at 5am and idle their car for 10 minutes before they leave!

I had an exceptional stay at The Gallery Motel in Murwillumbah. The room was incredibly comfortable and spotless, making it the perfect place for a restful night’s sleep. The location is ideal, and the owner is welcoming and extremely helpful. I would gladly return for another stay. Highly recommended!

Nothing at all to dislike. The rooms were fabulous and included ample power points and also a power board with USB sockets for phone/watches/ipads etc. Amazingly friendly and helpful owner who made sure everything was suitable for our needs. As we were travelling with a mobility challenged family member, the owner made sure everything was suitable for us.

I understand that the bicycle batteries needed to be recharged outside but I was very unhappy about the charging area having no cover and being so exposed to the footpath and the street.

clean and very comfortable, quiet road although it's the main road bed super comfortable, great size loved the additional touch of a can of drink and chocolates in the fridge for purchase...! 300mls of fresh milk , lots of mirrors and hooks, beautiful outlook onto bush

It's all been said in earlier reviews but it bears repeating. The room was spacious, airy, very clean and well appointed. The king size bed was very comfortable. The motel is very close to the start of the Northern Rivers Rail Trail and the owner has provided external charging points for Ebikes. Great fruit and vegetable shop across the road and only a short walk to the Art Gallery.

eveything was clean & comfy

only one taxi in town so location was a bit remote for us to manoeuvre around , as we were workers & needed to dine out each night & had trucks & trailers only to get around in .
