Lovely sized spa room with a balcony overlooking the gardens and right on the beach and a walking path. Close to cafes and some restaurants and a small supermarket. I didn't use any of the facilities as I was there for a retreat.

The fire alarm went off during the night and there was no information in the room about the evacuation procedure or assembly point. I went out into the corridor to find no info there either. I brought it up with the assistant manager on duty the morning of my departure and was told that they were looking into improving signage and that what they have in place is Fire compliant. Not good enough, was my response!

I like it as it was convenient for our family to get to, Pools were great, except people saving chairs ALL DAY

Didn’t like that they didn’t tell us to get a coupon at reception to save money for our breakfast at Seasons, was told this after we paid for breakfast at seasons, the waitress told us to ask for one, i think that should of been told at check in if we didn’t have breakfast included. Didn’t like the shutters between the bathroom and bedroom and the main bedroom didn’t have air conditioning so it got a little warm thru the night. Also no door stops to keep doors open when you have adjoining rooms, we asked for some and they never showed up, we ended up at Bunnings to buy a few.

We have stayed here numerous times over the past 15 years and like the atmosphere

When we arrived our room did not have a good sea view as we had requested. We asked the guy at reception if we could get a room closer to the the amenities such as the pool. He said theonly one available was a 2 bedroom unit above the reception area. We. Took it as it was closer to all amenities in the resort but had to pay extra for the extra bedroom (that we didn’t need) which was interconnecting to the room he suggested. We feel he could have let us have the one bedroom unit without the interconnecting room and thus we wouldn’t have had to pay extra for the 2nd bedroom that we didn’t need.

The Mantra on Salt beach has everything you might need all close by with a huge choice of eating places to choose from and some specialty shops as well. So close to the beach and great walking paths to take you into Kingscliff or Cabarita if you love to walk. Otherwise you can walk along the beach. It's close to the many tourist attractions that Northern New South Wales is famous for. The breakfast at their Seasons Restaurant is a real bonus if you include that in your room rate. The pool is amazing and big enough to cater for a crowd.

It's getting a little bit dated by still makes for a great place to stay. N

Amazing location, the king suite was large and spacious and incredibly clean. The bath was comfortable and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Whether we needed towels or directions to anywhere. The kitchen was nice too and they supplied a large fridge which is much nicer than those bar fridges that don't keep anything cold. The bed was comfortable and clean. The view from our balcony was amazing, even though it is of the neighbourhood we could still smell the ocean and see all of the greenery. We often went for late night beach walks as beach access is less than a 100m walk and the beach this accomodation is built by is absolutely beautiful. It is large and open so even if there are many people you still feel like you get a slice of beach to yourself.

A lovely location with a great pool especially for children. Close to the beach and extensive walking path through the beach dunes. Plenty of options for dining and a convenience store within the complex. A short drive to Kingscliff and supermarkets. Our one bed apartment was comfortable and plenty of room for two. Comfortable bed. Small but workable kitchen though we did use it much.

It is a large complex and our apartment was a fair walk from the pool area but that meant it was also quiet. Parking was not allocated so sometimes tricky to find.

The spa in the room, the walk in pool, the walk to the beach, the restaurants and bars next to the hotel.

Most ocean facing rooms only have a 5% of your view looking over the ocean with the rest looking at either a carpark, a tennis court, a garden or they are not high enough to even see the ocean. So paying the extra money for the ocean view room is not worth it. Booking through Booking.com usually has your room situated a long walk from the pool and reception, so book directly through the hotel if you have kids, an injury, or are elderly. The bar is rarely open so if you want to drink beside or in the pool, you need to walk over to Peppers which is owned by Mantra, but you'll be treated like a second class citizen as you're not staying at their hotel.

Lovely spacious suite. Excellent location negating the need to get in the car everyday. Lovely bathroom and kitchen, comfy bed. I lost a necklace of sentimental value and when it check out I told the staff. A staff member rang to say they found it which was fantastic. I was able to come the next day and pick it up.

Unfortunately our bedroom shutters were completely broken and unable to be closed which therefore let in a lot of light. Staff gave us free breakfast to compensate which was appreciated. The toilet dripped constantly so we had to turn its tap off to get some sleep. It was a weekend so it would be difficult to find a fix for either issue.

Clean. Unexpected room service one day (obviously didn’t read the fine print). Balcony and ocean views lovely. Feels mostly like what we paid for.

Thought we were getting a two bedroom apartment. Got two separate rooms. Non smoking property, yet smoking area not sheltered (rain). We were there in off season (July) but it seemed the only time the cocktail bar was open was for conferences to serve soft drinks.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Stayed for a night at first then came back for a further 2 nights. The staff were all friendly and I do want to thank particular male, I can’t quite remember his name unfortunately but he assisted us with our check out the first time and assisted with our check in the second time with a complimentary bottle of champagne and even waived our bond fee for us! So kind and generous. Shout out to you, Shame I can’t remember your name to give you the recognition you deserve but I wish you well! And thankyou 😊
