This is a great caravan park, was very welcoming. The facilities were excellent, everything I would need when away from home and so very clean and tidy. The location was beautiful, the river is across the road, great beaches just down the road and plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. The host /manager is a lovely lady, so friendly and welcoming. I stayed in a budget hotel in surfers for 4 nights , before arriving here. I booked on booking. com website for this accommodation. When I looked back at my booking before I was due to leave I noted I was booked in for only 4 nights instead of 5 nights. When I questioned my booking at this hotel the reception said this is a common problem that occurs with booking.com. website. I thought after I notified him of what had happened, he would offer me another nights accommodation at this hotel,in which I understand I would have to pay for. So I thought his service was abit poor. Luckily I had booked a night at the pyramid holiday park, due to this stuff up. Well it worked out for the better because Pyramid holiday park was a much better place to stay in. I wished I stayed here from the start of my holiday. A very big thank you Pyramid holiday park 😊

Absolutely loved the easy check in ✔️ I stayed in the deluxe cabin number 44 and it is so clean, modern and comfortable! Bedding comfortable and clean! Great sized cabin with small verandah Has a single carport and a BBQ and table chairs just across from it. Gas stove top and microwave. No oven. But everything you'd need for a holiday. Close to the pool which is super clean, lots of sun lounges and has a nice gazebo and BBQ for all you need. The gardens are kept so neat. This place has a great old school feel, nice and safe.

This park is directly under the flight path of the Gold Coast airport No WiFi in the park, you have to sit at the reception or the area around it if you need WiFi. Just a heads up for kids needing internet for the smart TV's etc Have your hotspot from your phone and it's sorted

When we arrived the staff were friendly and when we had a small problem, they helped us straight away even though the office had closed for the afternoon. The beds were very comfortable and the unit was good apart from the fact that we had to upgrade due to no inside toilet (not stated on booking form)

When booking a room, facilities stated toilet, bathroom, kitchen etc but when phoning a couple of days before the receptionist advised that the toilet was outside the unit. I would not have booked if this was stated on the booking site at Booking.com. To upgrade to a villa with an inside toilet cost an extra $35 per night which we were very disappointed at having to pay this extra amount especially as we are pensioners and budget the money for our holidays very carefully.

Room was super clean and our ensuite even though it was quite old and dated, it was very clean. Basic facilities in room , hot plate and pots and pans. Enough for us to make a breakfast and head out for the day. We would head out all day and only really used the cabin to sleep in so the small size was not an issue for the 2 of us. There was a pool that appeared clean but we didn't use as it was winter anyway. The ensuite is outside the cabin just a few steps away which was not an issue for us. This park served our purpose of affordable accomodation to sleep in while we boated on the river every day all day. Recommended

The location is not great, only servos and a small supermarket and I think a pizza place open at night within walking distance. If you didn't drive to this park I think you would struggle. Although I did see bus stops outside on the street. We walked to the servo to get an ice cream one night and it felt like a sketchy neighbourhood with the people hanging on the street corners and screaming down the street. But during the day it seemed fine.

It was away from all those big hi-rise apartments and we could park our car undercover next to our cabin and unload without the need to bring things up from a hi-rise basement car park via elevator.

We were blown away by the noise of jets taking off and landing however we got accustomed to it and it was interesting watching them on their approach to land. We felt sad for some folk staying there especially during these bad thunderstorms. Storms rocked our cabin and certainly would have caused leaky tents and campers.

The bed was comfortable The tv had a lot of static which could have been due to the air traffic overhead The room cost about $180 for the night classed as a budget cabin, I would never have thought that we would have to go outside to use the toilet and shower , not my favourite thing to do at 2 in the morning, lucky it wasn't raining We have stayed at this place before,the accommodation we had then was good, hence why I was disappointed this time,last visit was cheaper per night as well

The property was in a great location for us. Our unit was nice and clean, the communal areas are beautifully maintained, and the staff were great and very helpful.

There’s nothing we didn’t like in the property but thought the unit would really benefit from a few hooks on doors, a set of drawers in the twin room between the beds for some storage and some bedside lighting for the bedrooms.

Convenience to Aussies location

Basic maintenance needed. The sliding glass door does not move easily and is almost off its runners. Needs new wheels or tracks need good clean. Sliding screen door ok and was used as security. Key and door handle lock on ensuite facility needs wd40. Door also needs rehanging or altering on hinges as it either does not close easily or is really hard to push/pull open. Was afraid I would get suck in or outside.

The park and cabins are clean and well maintained. The staff couldn't be more accommodating. We needed somewhere to stay for an event with friends, we hired 3 cabins to accommodate 6 couples and it was great. Nothing luxurious just fit for purpose. Plus, Coolangatta is lovely. Will go back.

You're under the flight path for Gold Coast airport but planes stop about 10pm, so it really isn't much of a bother.

Nice, clean and tidy park. Enjoyed our stay. Cabin was very nice, with just a couple of suggested improvements below.

More towel hanging facilities in the bathroom. A hook or ring to the left side of the mirror at eye level to hang the hand towel would be a great improvement. Maybe also another small shelf to the right of the mirror, also at eye level, would be useful to place toiletries on.
