Facilities were great - we were provided with room service all the time, we had also clean towels at our disposal whenever we needed them. The staff were very friendly and very open to making sure that the room as always clean for us. Location of the Motel was great, there is a laundromat close by, so if you stay long enough to have to wash clothes it’s quite handy. It’s 20 minutes from Coolangatta beach, 25 minutes or so to snapper rocks and about 30 mins to d-bah beach which are quite popular with surfers, you also have tweed mall about 10 minutes walk, you can find all 3 major supermarkets. Also not placing any photos because the room photos are exactly what we got, the bed we got was a double bed, room with TV, wifi, small kitchenette, microwave, bathroom, shower, plates, utilities, etc.

This is an older style motel that has been renovated extremely well. The room was clean and quiet with a high quality bathroom. Good internet and plenty of PowerPoints. The hotel check-in is automated, but it was simple to do. Perfect for walking to a concert at Twin Towns RSL.

The hotel is about 900 metre flat walk to Coolangatta. Not a big issue - but it is less expensive than others

No staff on site. Check in is done by traveller and found this quite impersonal. There is nowhere to wash dishes/cups etc except handbasin in bathroom. There is a stock of items available if you need them ...eg toilet paper, towels. Rooms are serviced if required. Doing this review I can't use my Christian name I have been asked to use anonymous.

We have stayed here a couple of times now and both times the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The motel is close to where we wanted to be on both occasions so this was very convenient for us. You can also top up on amenities if you have run out, ie tea, coffee, sugar, dishwashing liquid etc. Very useful. There is also a small book exchange on site if you are staying long term.

The only very small negative was that the first room we stayed in had more utensils and when we stayed at the 2nd one there wasn’t as many. If I had known I could have brought some with me, ie colander/strainer, peeler, sharp knife or scissors.

Simple and clean value for money as a stopover. The self serve style of the amenities was great fun! A borrowing library, towels, tea and coffee, exquisitely clean bbq tools to borrow, free watching machines and powder- what a treat for travellers. Spotlessly clean. Comfy bed!

We liked it all except the placement of the aircon but obviously that’s not a deal breaker! Would have loved a chopping board (for making sandwiches for our next roadside lunch) but we will bring one next time

Very clean and great location for our stay.

The heating was a little problem. The heating unit was inadequate for our comfort. It didn’t heat the room to a comfortable temperature. We were offered the opportunity to change rooms, at 9:00pm, At which time we were at a show and it was 10:30pm when we returned and we considered that too late to be changing rooms and disturbing other guests, so we stayed where we were.

Convenient location to shops, clubs and airport. Room was very clean, it smelled like Exit Mould when I opened the door, so that was a sign that housekeeping had done a thorough job! The TV was easy to navigate to access Netflix. I was surprised and pleased to get a text message after departure. Housekeeping had found an item I had left behind and were happy to post it to me, hold on site for a few months, or was I still in town so could return to collect..? Great service here, again shows the commitment of the Housekeeping staff.

No Reception, per se, so no face to face contact. A little baffling for me to access key via putting in a code then key appears from a 'magic box' ! Older style of motel is charming however not super private. The quadrangle arrangement means that rooms face each other. I could hear guests talking in room next door- some kind of soundproofing needed on walls. No wine glasses in room ! I did observe later, that there were wine glasses in the Reception room...accessible via the magic key again. !

The Motel has been upgraded to a high standard. The room was a good size. Our car was parked outside our room which was very convenient. Comfortable bed.

To check in you have to wait till 2pm to get an sms with the code to get your key. It is very impersonal; no smile to greet you or give advice re restaurants. No local map of the area, very clinical. The shower has no shower curtain so water goes all over the bathroom floor; very dangerous with a wet floor. Would not stay here again.

Location was close to all amenities I required for a comfortable stay. I enjoyed use of the pool and proximity to cafes and restaurants. The cleaning staff were pleasant and highly responsive in assist to my questions. Really happy with the slef-service laundry with powder etc provided.

It need a hook on the back of the bathroom door, that's all

Very spacious room with nice jacuzzi, there was enough room as to install our daughter's cot and playpen. There is a vendor machine in case you need something handy, and even a printer, very well thought. The pool is nice but it was a bit windy for us.

We didn't know the room was in the second floor and not having the chance to take the baby's pram into the room with ease was a bit dissapointing. The bed's structure creaked in the middle of the night when rolling over. Other than those minimal things, we can't complain.
