Great facilities (indoor pool was nice and warm), close to beaches, parks, restaurants etc. also has restaurants in the building so don’t need to leave for a good meal! They allowed us an extra hour for check out and we were also able to check in early.

Price is probably slightly high considering our room was very small. We booked through booking.com and advised we had a 1yr old travelling with us. There was no space for a portacot or anything. Doesn’t bother us because our daughter just slept in our bed but something to consider!

If you've ever woken from a deep coma only to find out that you've a loved one pass during your time out-cold, you will know how it feels to have to leave this place. From the ease of parking (follow the red lights!), to the wizardry that is the aircon/balcony door killswitch, this high-tech, vast and welcoming beacon of Cooly joy is perfect for any member of any generation to indulge in. We were greeted by the warm and wise Gordon, who, despite his age, had clearly been learning the art of hotelliery for many a year. Once we had our keys we made our way up into a pristine room with a bed one could only dream of (or in...) and a view of the tennis courts below that would make the royals at Wimbledon feel like they had bought the GA tickets. Due to our fairly late arrival the bar downstairs had closed for the evening, which at first seemed problematic, until we were encouraged to trapse our way through the magnificent Skyway that divides our great nation's most lengthy Eastern states. Into Twin Towns proper we emerged and instantly were bedazzled by the variety of food and beverages available. Talk about a cave man's fantasy - imagine being transported there from the stone age... 'I must be in heaven!'. Or as I will now be saying... 'I must be back at the Mantra!' There is no sensible afterlife in which I can imagine awaking to an oceanic sunrise and having to squabble over which of the superb amenities you will tackle first for the day. A dip in the ocean, the harbour, the pool, the spa - perhaps a round of putt-putt? A smack of the tennis ball? The dumbbells? The... SAUNA? The list literally goes on but I'm sure you all get the idea. Unreal. Keep it up. With smiles til who knows when, Declan and Madalena

Arrived and told by staff we didn’t have a booking, this caused a lot of distress as we were staying for 10 days! I had to telephone booking.com and they rang the hotel ! I observed this happening to a lot of families during our stay. The staff wasn’t interested in helping and offered no support in resolving the problem. Apparently it was booked in Susan Roberts and not Susan A Roberts, he did admit to seeing the name but NO APOLOGY!! Disgusting!! This was at 10.30, we then waited in a huge queue at 2pm for 30 mins to get our room, finally got in the room at 3pm!

The room was very special. The views were incredible and so was the walk around balcony. Staff we very accommodating and even though we were a bit late to check out that wasn't an issue. Instructions for finding the correct parking and lift were clear and easy to follow and so were The internet connection instructions.

There was a broken glass under the lounge and there was a lot of dirt and dust under it too. The spa didn't work but there was a sign telling us this. Being the Penthouse and the amount it costs to stay in it you would think everything would work and it would be a priority to fix. So on our wedding night we couldn't enjoy a spa.

The staff at Reception were amazing. I made an error with my booking date. Even though I booked through a third-party, we got a new room, and got a refund for my error (not untitled). Thank you Mantra 🙏 The facilities were above and beyond our expectations. Food, beverage, entertainment...all within the facilities. It's our intention to return with extended family and base ourselves at the Mantra Twin Towns. We walked about the venue and surrounding streets....It's amazing. Food and entertainment, we didn't even need to leave the facility if we didn't want to. The locals were helpful and friendly too. Definitely a destination, value for money.

The room was comfortable and soundproof at night. The balcony with sunset view was special. The proximity to Twin Towns and other facilities was excellent. The local walks are special. We will return.

The TV was difficult to navigate, and the movie channels failed to load. The coffee/tea mugs are too small. The shower door needs a splash strip along the bottom. The shower water splashed under the door and caused a wet area outside. We had to request extra floor mats to soak up the water. Having said all that, it wasn't a big problem. Room 831

The reception staff are lovely. The view was wonderful. The gift from The Mantra in recognition of my husbands Birthday was very much appreciated. Alovely touch. It was a nice apartment not large but sufficient.

In general the apartment looked well presented but then on closer look we noticed a lack of attention to detail .. Things like finger mark.s around door handles and the outside of the refrigerator and bin needed cleaning. Cutlery also needed washing before use and a glass bowl had shards of broken glass sitting in it along with dried food marks.

The one (1) bedroom apartment is fully functional for either a short or long stay. All utensils and appliances are included. I had reservations about noise etc with the room we were in, as it had the one door for two separate rooms. But this was not an issue. Although you could hear the adjoining room's door close, there was no other sound from that room. The location is fantastic. Literally a minutes walk from the front of the building to one of the nicest the beaches in the world. Leaving the building, to can turn left or right for loads of shopping and entertainment. As this is about my tenth time staying here, I became a member of the RSL club that joins the motel. This is a fantastic club, with great meals and excellent service. Although the motel is situated in the middle of Tweed Heads/Coolangatta, it still seems so quiet and easy to get around. Being based here made it so easy to travel North to Surfer Paradise and Mount Tambourine, or just as easy to travel South to Byron Bay, Ballina etc.

The kitchen floor was a little tacky when walking on it. It did not seem dirty, but just sticky. It was not anywhere near enough for us to make an issue with management about. Very minor issue for us. The bedroom remote had it's moment with working. When it stopped, I did contact the main desk about this, but then called them back after to tell them not to worry as the remote started working again. Again, a very minor issue for us (When I spoke to the people on the desk they were very helpful and were going to organise the remote to be sorted).

We travelled as a family and stayed in one of the apartments in the Harbour Tower. It was clean and spacious with a fully functional kitchen. Our apartment was looking over the pool and putt putt course with amazing views of the ocean too. Very happy with the apartment. The Mantra Twin Towns had so many food options, RSL Club onsite and fun things to do together as a family. Surfers Paradise was a short drive away which was great. All in all, amazing getaway and we absolutely loved our stay. 100% recommend staying at here.

The Mantra is clean and extremely comfortable. Our room had a small fridge, microwave, crockery, cutlery and sink in the entryway. Well equipped bathroom, very comfortable king-sized bed. Easy access to the adjacent Twin Towns club is via a covered walkway on the Lobby level. Follow the signs. The buffet breakfast was $31 pp and had a great range of fresh hot and cold food. Free, easy parking, with different coloured lights to guide you to the appropriate section with access directly to the part of the hotel you are staying in. We followed the red lights to take us to Harbour Tower.
