The views from our apartment at Carool were stunning! We loved sitting out on the balcony (or at the kitchen table) watching the sunrise, the surf, and the many whales (and dolphins) that passed by Snapper Rocks. The location is fantastic; right near beautiful beaches, great coffee shops, walking tracks, and about 10 mins walk to restaurants etc in Coolangatta. The onsite pool was nicely heated and carparking easy. The apartment is large and spacious and the staff (Tina) friendly.

While the bathroom and bed were spotlessly clean, the apartment could do with a really good vacuum, and dusting. Also, there is no A/C/heat pump so it was cold at night time (in the middle of winter). The bathroom needs a hairdryer. Curtains badly need taking down/replacing in bedroom.

Relaxing. Breezy. Perfect. Such a good location and the apartments are so spacious and peaceful! Great pool for the walk back from the beach. Loved everything about it

Had to move rooms but it was such a seamless process. The second room was much better so would choose a different apartment next time.

Very noisy with surfers/cars banging away outside on the street with boards etc The huge building smack bang in the middle of our view which they fail to show in any photos. Key wouldn't work in lobby door.

Was so spacious, we got upgraded for free, and had an amazing balcony overlooking the ocean. Kitchen was well equiped to cook for my family of five grown ups❤️

The advertisement was deceiving as the view photos were obviously taken from the very top units. We were on the second floor, but received an ungraded and got a good view of the icier from the verandah, patio. Not sure what our view would have been without the upgrade.

This property is close to the beach, surf club and coffee shop and the view was amazing. We watched the whales swimming past from the balcony.

There was no ceiling fan in the main bedroom. The cars and motorbikes outside can be noisy.

We had a room on level one, which had good views of the ocean and a lovely balcony. Large room with well equipped kitchen, large lounge suit and big enough table in dining and balcony for everyone.

The car park is quite tight, a bit tricky if you have a large car. The apartment, while spacious, was a outdated, which did not bother us.

Fantastic position with enough room for a family of five. Condition of apartment was excellent with amazing views up and down the coast.

Cooking facilities and laundry

Someone needs to look through the cooking utensils and sort them out as saucepans had no lids or they were far too big

Very comfortable and spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with sea view. Has been partially renovated and very attractively decorated. Kitchen facilities/equipment were excellent. Good laundry facilities.

Some of the fittings need to be upgraded like the cooktop, bathroom fittings

Fantastic location, easy walk to the beach. Great views from the balcony. Hosts Tina and Mick were really helpful and so friendly. Our kids loved the pool too! A little bit of noise from the work on the building in front, but it didn't bother us as we were out most of the day. Great family holiday location, we loved it.
