What a wonderful place to stay in Coolangatta! The facilities are excellent (we will be back in summer to be able to use the pool!), and the staff were so attentive and kind. We stayed in a 2 bedroom overlooking the pool. Rooms were well presented and kitchen had everything we needed to be able to make breakfasts and lunches in between beach trips. Beds are extremely firm so bring a lush mattress topper if you prefer softer beds, but the bedrooms were nice and dark to sleep in. Blankets and oil heater provided for extra warmth as well as the air conditioner in the lounge. Lovely easy walk to good cafe, rainbow beach and fantastic playgrounds. 20 min stroll down the main street to woolies. Apartment is a bit tired/dated but impeccably clean so it doesn't affect your stay. Staff are on hand to fix anything that isn't quite right. Would definitely recommend 👌

Lovely apartment with everything we needed to be self-sufficient. Close to beaches, shops and walking paths which was exactly what we were wanting. We didn’t need a car as everything was so close. Owners were friendly.

The only thing we didn’t like was that the curtains in the bedrooms weren’t blockout. Quite a lot of outside light came into the room through the flimsy curtains making sleep a bit of a problem

This property was perfectly located. The amenities were perfect, especially having a washer and dryer whilst travelling as a family! The pool was great for the kids too. My ONLY feedback for improvement would be some sort of stick vacuum. Not much can be done about sand given the proximity to the beach but I swept so many times and still ended up with sand in the bed haha. Could be more of a me problem.

Had a lovely stay, .manager was friendly and very accommodating. Loved the vibe and close to everything. will definitely book here again.

Only issue for us was no lifts and plenty of stairs but not a problem if you don't have mobility issues 😊 manager was helpful and swapped rooms for us to a lower level as I forgot to check before hand

The location was fantastic- close to the beach, shops, restaurants, walkways etc... The unit was well equipped and spacious. Outdoor pool area was great. Staff were very friendly and willing to accommodate our needs- changed our unit to a ground floor unit due to my limited mobility from recent surgery. Could not fault this place- would love to come back again!

Air con did not work in first unit- however this was remedied when we were moved to a ground floor unit. So no problems really.

Excellent location being able to walk to the beach, shops, restaurants. The furniture in the apartment and decor was very nice. We loved having 2 bathrooms for a change. Our house only has 1.

Just two things! We couldn't connect the tv to the wifi so we couldn't watch any streaming services on tv. Our phones and iPads connected fine to the network but the tv failed to. One last thing is about the tiny coffee mugs - they were so small I ended up buying some larger normal size ones from an op shop and leaving them.

Convenient location to the beach and shopping. Very clean and tidy apartment. Note there is no lift and we were on the top floor, which wasn’t an issue for us.

There were only ceiling fans in the bedrooms, did not feel adequate at times.

Kitchen needs a renovation. Water damage. General vibe “too many rules” Could use a coffee machine, standard now. Tight on supplies. Nice to have bottled soap, shampoo and body wash. More tea bags. All round a nice place and enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bay Apartments Coolangatta. The location was fantastic, we loved being a walk away from the beach and the apartment was well equipped with kitchen utensils and dishware. We also really appreciated the washer and dryer as we were there on a rainy weekend. We also made good use of the saltwater pool and hot tub and were grateful to the staff for their great service and hospitality during our stay. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Close to the beach, shops, club etc, rooms were a good size. BBQ was great to have, pool was nice. Self-contained rooms had everything you needed including dryer & washing machine. Service from the staff was Outstanding, Thank you for your service!

All Beds/mattresses were too old they seemed & uncomfortable, lumpy & worn everyone found. Single beds in the 2nd room were only good enough for small children as our teenagers are reasonably tall & feet almost hung off. May we suggest king singles would be a good idea.
