The Mantra Coolangatta is centrally located to the beach, restaurants and shopping outlets. Our beds were very comfortable, so we all had wonderful sleeps.

We were enquiring about a return visit and the lovely lady on the front desk let us have a key to a room we wanted to look at, upon looking at it the room next door was being cleaned and we asked the young girl who was one of three working in there if we could have a quick peek in to see the configuration compared to our room, she was happy to let us in but then this older woman who was vacuuming pretty much pushed us out of the room and nearly ran the vacuum into us and was extremely rude, we understand they were busy but this level of rudeness was not called for. Not a good look for this hotel as the rest of the staff were lovely.

Location was fabulous! We could literally walk across the road to the beach, there were restaurants & ice-cream shops within easy reach, a shopping centre, a brand new Gold Class cinema and a games arcade for rainy days. Our apartment was a good size for a family of 4 (including 2 teenage children). We had sea view and pool view from our room, so if we were relaxing or reading in the middle of the day we could enjoy the stunning view across to the beach.

The wifi could definitely have been better - especially with teenagers, they did use up their data. There was also an unusual smell in our apartment, I thought maybe the carpets had been cleaned prior to our visit, which would've been great, but the slightly damp smell remained all week despite air fresheners.

The convenience of everything at the doorstep and beach over the road. Lovely view and quiet on 4th floor.good size and super balcony and bedroom. Great wash machine..

Only one minor thing.Was a little dated I thought than photo ..No instructions for oven or range top which would be handy and we couldnt get them to work. We had to get maintenance person twice re above. And they had problems also but was quickly resolved. Service was wonderful.

Our initial Studio on ground floor (6) had an awful smell in it which made it to uncomfortable to stay in after the first night. One of the Management inspected the studio and right away put the smell down to newly laid carpet and agreed it wasn't very pleasant. What she did next was exceptional service. Within 10 minutes we were upgraded to a 1 bedroom unit on the 3rd floor. We were relieved and cannot have been more impressed. Thank You

The location was perfect. Opposite the beach, close to restaurants, cafes and other eateries. The Strand shopping centre is across the street. The view also perfect, I had a beach view room and I was not disappointed! Close to the airport and bus stop. I enjoyed my walks along the beachside walking track into the neighbouring suburbs and up to the other beaches. The entire unit was spotlessly clean, comfortable and supplied most everything needed. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Such a warm welcome on arrival - and throughout our stay. The 2-bedroom unit was large enough myself and a colleague for a few days stay which was work related. The unit was clean and had all the basics for a couple of days. The shops are an easy walk to get supplies if you are staying longer. The location is great with the beach opposite, and lots of restaurants nearby. The balcony was large and had stunning views up the coast. Watching the sunset from the balcony was magnificent. There was a tennis court and small gym (which we didn't have time to use). Special mention to the beautiful fragrance coming from a candle at reception, and the lovely lady next to it :)

It is close to the beach. Beautiful view of the sea from the living room and main balcony.

No service when you stay for seven days. At least once will be good seeing there is no vacuum cleaner available. When we moved in there were still dirty oven pans from the previous people. It used to be the top spot to stay but the floors are getting very dated.

It is without question the best location in Coolangatta if convenience is your thing- terrific views and close to all shops, restaurants and cafes which serve up great coffee and of course just a stone's throw to the amazing white sandy beach. I'd book this place again in a New York minute!

It is almost impossible to list one single thing to complain about, The staff are all welcoming and the place is kept spik & span just like a 5* hotel. Our stay in Feb. meant that we could swim in 28 degree water, 1 minute from our door-beat that!

At the beginning , our booking did not match what we thought about it . Then we talked with Manyra Coolangatta staffs . One of the staff Lisa was excellent, she heard about our booking details then find out a better solution for us . My parents were really pleased about their 2 weeks stay . Whenever they have issues, they went to see Lisa, Lisa always help them. Thank you Lisa great customer services , my parents will definitely come back for their next trip in Coolangatta.
