We were greeted by Nim at reception who was extremely helpful making us feel welcome and giving us information on best places to visit while on holiday. Building is secure with spacious underground car park, our Amarok with roof rack is around 2.3m, car park is 2.1m still fit but only just. We were on 9th floor with great views of beach. Apartment has huge living area and substantial sized bedrooms. Balcony is perfect for relaxing with a cold beer, watching whales breaching in the bay, (with binoculars) and catching the breeze. Short walk to Cole's and Woolworth, about 5 mins to main drag with a plethora of excellent shops even a cinema. If you have a car it's about 25 mins to Pacific Fair, a little bit further for Movie world, Dream world. We used to stay at Surfers paradise, thinking it had everything, Tweed Heads is much better and it hasn't got young teens running around in gangs terrorising everything in sight. We'll definitely be coming back to the Ultima, we had a great holiday, thanks for your help Nim.

No complaints.

The location and, the size of the room is great. A full size kitchen and fridge. Couch and beds were comfy.

Some dishes were dirty and required washing. Mould in the shower. The room appeared not to be used in a while and had a real musty/dry milk smell. Once we turned on the aircon from the unit on the balcony and aired out the unit for a day it was fine. The pool is open until 9pm however the lights in the pool and spa weren't on, candle lit swim for the kids. Not enough toilet paper provided and had to purchase more. Booked for 4 people, the room. Mention 1 double and 2 x singles. The room was made up with 2 x doubles and 1 x single.

The location was great and the apartment was very large. Everything was provided and the wifi signal was strong which is often not the case when staying in hotels or apartments. Close to shops, restaurants and transport.

Initial access to the property was not as good as expected. Instructions were sent by email, but it took a long time for anyone to answer, which given that the time was only 6.15pm was not good. Then the person didn't seem to know I had a booking or they misheard me and the call cut off. Luckily someone else entering the building let me in and I was able to open the key lock box to get the apartment keys. I would not have wanted to be standing out on the street on my own late at night with no one answering. Suggest a better way of providing access or have someone available that is easier to contact immediately.

The penthouse apartment was lovely with beautiful views and a very convenient location. The staff were super friendly and helpful, knowledgeable of the area and full of wonderful suggestions for the kids and family to enjoy. Highly recommend the gym and the owner is super lovely.

The permanent residents can be rude and judgmental of the temporary stayers. We were accused by permanent residents for leaving rubbish behind at the pool, but the rubbish was there before we arrived at the pool. Photos of us were taken by the resident and shown to the building manager in an attempt to discredit us. All this was quickly debunked by the building manager but it was a little disappointing we were subjected to that which disappointed the kids a little.

Clean room and comfy bed

Did not see a receptionist,which made it hard to find the room from which tower our stay was in . Information was lacking on the keybox letter I got. Did not see a receptionist when we left, fortunately, some of the resident's gave us some information. Also a rusted litter bin in the bathroom , dropped the standard of the room slightly.

Spacious and clean one bedroom apartment with ocean views. Owners Brett & Amy are friendly and nice to talk to. They definitely maintain the property well.

1. We felt that the bed mattress needed to be firmer. Will remember to communicate this during next visit. 2. Car parking is at two basement levels. People need to be careful while turning their cars through the tight corners of the basement parking.

Located a couple of 100 meters from the beach the apartment had everything you could want. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, spacious lounge, meals area plus kitchen. Large outside alfresco area on the balcony. Washing machine in the larger bathroom with small supply of washing powder provided. Plenty of soap/lotions and fresh towels for the bathroom. Beds were comfortable. Mim at the front desk was a delight and very friendly and helpful. There was a pool, spa, and gym available for use which we didn't use during our stay.

About the only thing I could say is there was only one air conditioner in the lounge/meals/kitchen area but there were ceiling fans in the bedrooms, so it wasn't a major issue.

Beds very comfortable, veiw from balcony looked over the beach Was upgraded on arrival . It was a nice supprise The appartment was exactly what i was looking for.

The only thing was that the main lounge window could use a curtain you can draw , for when you are watching TV. as the window reflection shines right onto the TV making it difficult to see the program on the TV.

Close to the airport and beach and loved the views from the apartment. Place was well maintained , clean and warm and ideal for our family. Staff were very friendly and accomodating to our early check in request. Parking was allocated and like the fact it was underground safe and secure.

Nothing really very happy with this place

The location is elite! Close walk to everything. Private location and super comfortable rooms. Beds, big tick and the views from the balcony are gorgeous. Even saw whales in the distance. The staff were incredibly helpful. Great communication and super friendly. They were happy to accommodate our needs.
